  1. You will like the Strada, A2 and the Fusion.
  2. I wont go into a horton like review but the Fusion just turns on its own. It is pretty smooth and stable at all times. I got back on my Strada and it took me 3 passes to get my ski under me on the turns. It is amazing how much I had to put into the Starda to get it to turn after riding the Fusion. Second set on the Strada and I was not haveing any issues making it turn but the fusion just turns on its own. If I had to, I could make it work.
  3. Horton, I flew all the way to LA, was parked on I-5 for 4 hours, had to deal with all the left coast wackos and put up with your crap just to fall at -35. But it was the best Fish Tacos I have ever had. Beer and Fish Tacos at Lengthwise brew company rocks.
  4. How many hours on the 2001? Give it a good once over and test drive if you can. look at the bilge area for signs of oil. If it looks good and stands up to a test, it is an awesome boat. Price compare on SIA
  5. Lesson learned. Dont listen to Horton. Put the wing on your ski and ski with it on.
  6. ustdl I rode Approach front stock with my rear wiley seperated (toe to back of front boot) about 1.5 inches. There were lots of people that could not get Monza to turn on the off side so if you are banging your head dealing with it you may be better off getting a new ski. I rode an 05/06/07/08 and loved them all but the 07 was the best ski I have ever owned.
  7. Horton is wrong. The Monza rocks. The numbers I put up are for a 67
  8. .730 dft 2.520 6.920 tips 6.825 flat jaws
  9. It depends upon the airport that you originate in. Most large airports have the machines that you can stick a ski tube through. If not, they have to do a trace detection inside and out. They have to open it up, wipe down the surface and send it through a sniffer.
  10. Ham, A ventral is a wing. MS is right.
  11. The fact is that at 17-34 MPH longline and 15 off, the LXI and MC have a much bigger wake. Ask any kid on the dock or ask any 26-32 15 offers. They will all tell you that it is bigger. Some stronger skiers will be able to ski the wakes with not much of a change in average. I spoke to a guy who has 2 pretty good G2/G3 skiers last year at the Ranch. He was looking for a new boat and was blown away about how great the 200 wake was. I told him he needed to get one. He said, "no way, I need my girls practicing behind the big wakes so that when they get the 200 they PB and dont have to worry when they draw the big wakes at tourneys". (nice reason not to buy the best) My wife tells me last week that she wants to buy a MC just so she can get better behind the big boats. CC will go out of business due to having the smallest wakes. Again, My last 3 PBs have all been behind the MC.
  12. It means everyone skied like crap.
  13. And we still are loosing money after sticking it to you,
  14. 28 off behind the 200 that has the 422 prop is much better. Stock prop on the 200 sucks at -28.
  15. Mrs.MS wants to buy a MC just to practice behind. She wants to be ready when she gets it at a tourney. The 2010 Promo MC was the best looking boat of any of the big 3.
  16. Roger, I have been behind 2 MCs (09/10) that had 100lbs up front. The 28 wake was not a problem to ski with but it was rock hard. 32 a bit better but still hard. 35-38-39 were not noticed. Lots of skiers were complaining. Each time the weight was removed and the wakes were awesome. The long line and slow speed wakes on the MC suck with or without weight in the nose. There may have been PBs set behind them but they are still big. There are lots of posters on this board that will tell you they are big at slow speed 15 off. I cannot verify that due to never skiing behind the MC at 15 off. My last 3 PBs have all been set behind the MC and it skies great.
  17. Did the boat have added weight in the bow to assist the driver? Added weight to the nose of the MC makes the wakes rock hard a 28 and 32.
  18. Greg, I have to work on Mon so Saturday night after I ski is prime time.
  19. mbvise, 8am start. I think they are looking at 8 skiers. Any wind that is not south over 8 is good.
  20. Noose noose. Team M, This heat is starting to get to me.
