  1. Call Son and they will do you right. It wont last long
  2. I am sure that it is right in line with the market on the 08s. You would save on the taxes. The 07/08/09 price has stayed in the 30s due to the prices of the 200 and the other boats. Our 08 196 club boat has 300 hours on it and if I sold today I would expect to get at or above the price we paid last sp
  3. 100 lbs in nose and some rudder grinding makes it awesome. Its probably a toss up on the 200/Vs Cp for tracking and I would say the 200 is better. The adjustable rudder on the 200 is nice. The CP is way better than the MC or BU.
  4. I have now skied behind and driven 2 Carbon Pros. This weekend I skied behind the CC (stock Prop), Malibu, MC and the CP. CP was far and away the best pull of the 4. There is no wake behind this boat and it tracks as good as the 200. This boat is the real deal. I have been drinking the CC kool aid since day 1 and I think there is finely a boat that I can say I like. The 196 is still the greatest boat ever. I got back home yesterday and drove our boat and it felt great to get out of the wakeboard boat feel and into a sports car again. The 200 we skied behind this weekend had a very solid bump at -28. I have not felt this with other 200s. Could the stock prop be the reason?
  5. There needs to be a pro-tour web site. Each event could log in and update with scores and info. building a web page for each indivdual tourney is time comsuming and costly for the event organizers who are usually local ski clubs or guys like boarditup.
  6. I would rather take the 22 but not having had the loop at 22 yet this year, I would be more concerned about missing 22 than 32. Another great warm up idea is to get a super small vest. You get warmed up trying to get it on.
  7. I think that the use of rubber bindings is the reason. No control with hardshells
  8. If the Strada did not exist, I would make the A2 my ski of choice. I tried the A2 a few weeks ago and I could easily get on it and ride it to my PB. After a week of testing other skis, I got back on the Strada and have skied better then ever on it.
  9. RD, I try to do some light stretching, a few push ups, some hip rotation and enough to get the blood moving. I wont get rid of 28 off unless I play the wind. I have seen some bizar stuff at the starting docks. It makes you wonder what these people do at home during practice.
  10. When people are asking questions about skis, they need to have informed answers. In the end, JD said it the best. If you cant run 39, it might not be the ski.
  11. Sorry Scott, My history with them gets the best of me.
  12. Greg is correct. Nate is 7 up on them and they would need to get 1@43 and Nate would have to not have a good 3rd round. Nate could also run big and put an end to both of them. D3x7 with T factors. Hardshells, who needs them.
  13. I can see moveing the numbers within a letter class but to go from A3 to C2 is insane. The settings will give you the same basic feel from boat to boat but it is maybe going from B1 to B2 that would make sense. Just ski.
  14. Jack, Get a wing angle gauge and put the wing at 7 to start. You may end up at 9 but the good starting point is 7. The more the number the more you will feel the back of your ski.
  15. I cant tell you how many times at a tourney I have sat down in the water after my 28 opener and said, Thank God for 28 off. I dont practice at 28 off, I use it as a warm up. It beats all the stupid stuff everyone does at the starting dock.
  16. You need to try a 66. Dont try new boots and ski at same time. You need to glue your boots to the ski or get a Team Malibu plate for those roller blade boots.
  17. The best part is you dont have to live on a lake or even own a boat. I am not sure that there is a job like that out there but if there was it would be great. I wonder if the guy that runs this web site has it that good?
  18. Running a website, getting free skis to test, flying all over the counrty to ski, get free swag, free vest, gloves and hobnob with all the big wigs. What could be a better job?
  19. @than (absolutely no weakening of the ski) except after the 20th set when the honeymoon is over and you begin to wonder if the ski is already broken down or is it just that you are skiing bad.
  20. OB has drank too much Holloween Koolaid. Actually the 9800 was one of the best skis that I have ridden. As a result I bought one and the one they sold me was crap. I wasted a 1/2 summer trying to figure it out, dished it and PBd on the RS1 that fall.
