    My buddy in Orlando has a 10' CC 200 with a 5.7 and its a dream to drive and ski behind even on his short setup. @SkiJay‌ is right its ridiculous to suggest they aren't good boats.

    My 190 ran perfect with its carb for 10 years I owned it. Don't fear the carb, just maintain it properly.

    My first boat was a 90 Prostar 190. It had a 351 Ford in it, fiberglass stringers. It suited me just fine up to 35off where the spray became kinda bad. Boat tricked good and of course is one of the best slalom hulls ever built. You should be able to find plenty of these boats running around in your price range.

    @lottawatta‌ I'm in the process of dialing in my new LXI... It has a bit of play in the steering as well. I'm replacing the titl column (bearing was loose on the shaft) and when I get into the rudder arm to grease it I will be trying the nylon washer trick to tighten things up even more. Great idea! @Chuck_Dickey‌ great post and pics -thanks!

    7 seems to be a sweet spot for the wing on the Helix. At 8 I was experiencing a heavy bite on my offside turn. At 7 the ski carries through with good speed.

    any score at 39 whether its practice or tournament doesn't matter - its just DAMN GOOD skiing! Congrats @Horton‌ heck its been so long since I PB'd I'm not even sure I remember my PB (practice or tournament)

    @OB‌ I feel so bad for you... I flew out of ATL the other day and went right over your site. It looked so sad and lonely. I wish I would have gotten a chance to ski it. Whats the current situation? Is USAWS helping you get your rights back?

    I just bought an 04 LXI and am using Rotella 15w40 and the Pennzoil filter. I have always changed my oils every 50 hours or twice a summer.

    Last week I cheated on my Helix demo for a few sets with an A3. My intent was to demo a Vapor but Perf was without so I rode the A3 instead. I immediately bought the Helix after 2 sets on the A3. Looking fwd to the rest of this season on the Helix! I've updated my fin settings a touch, will post later.

    I took two sets tonight behind a 200 with the 5.7L. Both were TOP NOTCH. I drove a set as well and it was great! Never an issue with hole shot or power band. Solid boats!

    Its been my experience that some Prostars drive really good, and some drive really bad. But for some reason every TXI,LXI i've ever driven drive really good (and all the same). And every CC after the TSC1 hull drives really good and all the same.
