  1. If so PM me. I'm looking at a boat that is for sale there and have some questions. Appreciate it - Thanks
  2. I don't know where this lake is, but its BEAUTIFUL!
  3. First get some tape (pick any color but good ole fashion silver is for men!) and a sharpie. Then write "BE STRONG BEHIND THE BOAT" on said tape with previously mentioned sharpie. Next STICK IT ON THE TIP of your ski. Now go forth into the water world and run some buoys at 36!
  4. I think the TXI platform has proven itself plenty over the last 5-6 years. Probably the roomiest and top open bow boat on the market. Not that the 200 isn't a great boat but its got a touch smaller open bow.
  5. I'm on week 3 of my Helix demo and really enjoying it. But after all this positive feedback a part of me is really looking forward to riding my Vapor demo next week as well!
  6. It shouldn't surprise anyone that a legend like Mapple posts any such score at 41 or 43.
  7. @wrecknprogress‌ cool looking seats. Do they just sit on the floor?
  8. Someone needs to snatch that up. Killer killer price even with 650 hours.
  9. When I slump its usually because the water gets really warm so I might consider a fin adjustment. Otherwise I consider my basics.
  10. Whitney and Regina are really on top of their games.
  11. @wrecknprogress‌ great lookin colors!
  12. @scotchipman‌ have you tried changing your wing to 7? The only reason I say that is the last two 35s it looks to me like your ski is biting awfully hard on the turn where you are popping the handle. I was pleased with my wing at 7, then changed it to 8 and saw the same thing happen to me - I moved the wing back to 7 and have not experienced it since. However my settings are a touch longer fin, a touch shorter depth and the same DFT.
  13. The Helix sure does come alive the shorter the rope gets. Good skiing @scotchipman‌
  14. One of the best tips I ever got early in my course skiing career was don't look at the ball. You look at the ball you tend to ski to the ball. And running more buoys faster and shorter becomes about creating that space where you are out at the buoy line before the ball. Look at the back of the boat or shore, anything but the buoy you're about to go around.
  15. Leave it to Schnitz to still have photos of this on his site... http://www.schnitzskis.com/images/526_DSC_6143_Warped.jpg http://www.schnitzskis.com/images/239_Parrish_Warp_7.jpg http://www.schnitzskis.com/images/320_Warp_7.jpg http://www.schnitzskis.com/images/239_Warp_8.jpg Now if you'll excuse me the mere act of clicking on Schnitz website has me needing to go wash my hands.
  16. Can you tell us a bit more history on the Warp? Who makes it? What is their philosophy on building skis? Obviously this is the most expensive ski on the market. What makes it the most expensive? Sorry I just don't know much about the Warp other than remembering it being hollow with no core, and their awesome bikini clad marketing campaign at Nationals in Okeheelee a few years back (until they were asked to "um leave").
  17. I'm in the market for a boat and my wife says she wants an open bow... ;) So we'll be getting an open bow!
  18. @GOODESkier‌ I'll give it a try and see if I like. I DO ski opposite my baseball/golf grip.
  19. @GOODESkier‌ I always end up with two palms down when I try the opposite grip.
  20. Lucky Lowe says I hold the handle wrong. He tried to change me but since I can't hear people yelling at me I didn't listen :)
  21. 288 buoys down. lots to go.
  22. @ozski‌ if its working stick with it. I think I'm sticking with where I'm at for awhile. I've got a few days left of my demo. Last night I made one small tweak and changed my wing from 7 to 8, but the ski didn't carry through the turn like it was so I put it back and then breezed through 28 and took some cracks at green. Only difference between our numbers looks to be DFT. 6.980, 2.488, and .750 numbers. Wing at 7
  23. @scotchipman‌ I'll leave it up to @SkiJay‌ to make fin recommendations but I'm curious to see how the ski turns as the line gets shorter. We've got some weather comin in so I'm not sure if I'll get another few sets on this thing tonight or tomorrow but my plan is to shorten more than I normally would early in the season.
  24. I prefer B1 but I am neither Big nor a Dawg.
