  1. Bradley Beach. A buncha years ago joined hortons carbon fin forum, not knowing what I was getting myself into. There i learned too much for my own good about fin tweaking Transitioned over to BOS. Guess I'm an old school Baller. 33 yr old two eventer, (slalom and trick) originally from a Kansas city where I ski'd and learned a ton from the great Ez Ed. Spent 6 years in swmo skiing at lake Freddie and table rock lake. Now I live in San Antonio, Tx and ski at San Marcos river ranch with my two of my favorite ski partners Jeff and Tina Lindsey. I still have to ski bg boy speed, trying to get better at the green loop and possibly see some more blue this summer.
  2. Took a few Sets in early February when I was down in Austin working and job interviewing for a few weeks. Now that I've relocated to the San Antonio area got my first 3 sets at SMRR as a Texas resident Saturday! Amazing to be in trunks wit no rubber and 80deg water I April! I think I'm going to love living in south Texas!
  3. Update: we remapped the course last night and for some reason things began to work, all buoy times, etc - both directions. Now about the skiing. The pull is very good. Gate speed is on par with what the actual ZO does. The engine reaction to the skiers pull, also very good. Having ski'd behind this exact boat the other day before we installed the zBox and then after installed I can honestly say the pull is noticeable different for the better. zBx was set on 11 and I tried light, normal and heavy settings and there was even a noticeable difference between those settings as well.
  4. One of the skiers here at SMRR just installed zBox. We noticed good times EOC, but splits are a touch off. We're also experiencing only picking up the map in one direction (the direction we map first) and cannot get it to pick up or give times going the other direction. It does however engage and keep speed both directions of the slalom course. Any ideas there? I'm skiing it today for the first time, will provide some feedback shortly.
  5. I have zero clue how she runs so many buoys with that tip rise out of the turn, but hey if its working don't change it. Nice skiing Regina!
  6. BSusi skis' without his headband??? My mind is blown.
  7. Florida is good for at least 4 balls
  8. I remember Lucky telling Ez Ed one time... "You haven't ski'd one single pass the same as another, me movin that fin around ain't gonna change that..." HAHA!
  9. Lucky: "if you can't do it on land, what in the hell makes you think you can do it on the water with me screaming at ya?"
  10. So that's Eric Lee... Hmm I've seen that guy before.

  12. whats with the blue scaffolding? You guys doing some spackling out there in BField?
  13. the 11 TT I ski behind has a phenomenal pull... 1.) Not sure the prop but knowing the lake owner its a 4 blade OJ Nibral 2.) ZO, not flashed 3.) Illmor... I ski 36mph, B2 at 165lbs its one of the softer pulls I've experienced behind a ZO boat.
  14. I've skied at those lakes, they are frickin awesome! 2004 if memory serves, behind a 90 Prostar that rumbles like a muscle car!
  15. If conditions are sketchy I'm gonna go out on a limb and say Rossi takes it down. If conditions are prime you gotta go with the hot hand, Nate Smith wins.
  16. Newman! I want a Baller hat... When are you getting more?
  17. Watching CP ski from the boat is a fun experience. Dude is so powerful behind the boat its not even fair!
  18. www.ez-slalom.com There is not a more knowledgeable/nicer person in skiing than EZ Ed. His customer service and slalom courses are top notch.
  19. I saw Nate ski at Junior USO last year. He's very tall, leverages the boat in a very stacked position and his D3 moves in and out of the turns very well with him. Kid is a talented skier.
