  1. I hope they slow the boat speeds down by at least 1mph. Hate to see any skiers get hurt.
  2. I have to install a course and remove each time we ski. By myself, I can do it in 45 minutes because I am used to it. I am getting a kick out of these folks who ski on private lakes with surveyed courses install a portable course. :)
  3. I was watching American Ninja warrior and there were two wakeboarders, Emily Durham and Shaun Murray competing. Where are the slalom skiers? I am thinking Will Asher, maybe Freddy Krueger would be a good choice. The sport could use this kind of exposure. Who do you all nominate?
  4. Got to get about 65 to 66 inches of your body outside the ball at 43 off. That is bitchin.
  5. If a sponsor really put some serious cash up for a record, that would be a very tough business decision. Would it not? Guess it would come down to how much Nautique pays him. Would 50 k bring out a record regardless of the boat used?
  6. What were the women's scores?
  7. looked like a S2, probably just something in the factory to put onto prototype. Nate's 41 just looked way too easy! Was expecting more at 43. Badass skiing today, no doubt about it!
  8. Yes, indeed the best webcast I've ever seen. Really enjoying watching this and the ticker tape depicting scores on the bottom is awesome.
  9. My 71" P6 is an awesome ski at 30. However, I have a 67" Theory that is better at 32 though. Would like to try a 65" P6 at 32 or 34. Also had a 65 Theory that was good at 34. I am building a homemade carbon version of the Theory as it is my favorite ski

  11. Has anyone given much thought about the concave depth on high end skis? What works best? Deep or shallow concaves? Doe's it really matter? Pros and Cons? I notice for the most part shallow in the tail and deeper under the bindings.
  12. We were getting almost the same effect (lateral tail flex) in the 80"s on the Jobe's. The fin slot was all the way through the back of the ski allowing each side of the ski at the fin area to flex differently . We tried epoxy in the tail to firm up the tail like today's new skis and it did not ski as well. Strange enough.
  13. What about a carbon fin mount? Is that doable?
  14. But, it says flex tail. Can we now adjust tail flex?
  15. Looks to me to be a longer version of the rocker block. Now we can adjust rocker along with fin.
  16. I could be wrong but I thought it said made in China on a Lithium Senate I looked at in Performance Ski Shop. It looked high quality and hand flexed like any of the other high end skis. The P6's and Theory's are made in China and hold up and ski well. LOL, the Theory has run through the course at 38 off. Speed was slower and the ski is a bit soft for that length. Point is, Chinese made skis can run shortline
  17. The Vapor is made in the USA.
  18. I am comparing a 67" HO TX vs a 71" Radar Senate Lithium. Any one with experience with these two skis as to which will turn the best when skiing shorter lines?
  19. I would like to ride the 71" lithium Senate. Thinking that would be a blast.
  20. I think the Senate is wider than the CX in comparable lengths so it would be better at slower speeds. The CX will most likely get through the wakes better though with less bounce.
  21. lpskier, you are probably right, no more than I ski nowadays. Boat is old but paid for. Not looking for lakefront property as I saw that it was very high in Clermont. I will probably look up Lucky as it looks to be close by. Lapoints', I do not know where they are though. Thanks!
  22. I was looking more for a local lake. Skiing at McCormicks would be nice but get expensive after a couple of sets. I am possibly moving down there so I was looking for maybe ski buddies or a place to practice. Thanks!
