  1. Buffet bought 1 million shares of Delta today. Hmm....
  2. Anyone have one they aren't using? Cheaper the better. Thanks AB
  3. @skialex I think you are hitting the nail... Lots of people probably have it and don't know it. The symptoms are like the common cold, only those with respiratory issues go into the breathing issues. https://www.businessinsider.com/south-korea-coronavirus-testing-death-rate-2020-3
  4. Maybe we should get a bunch of them in a pile and blow them up like the Disco Demolition in Comiskey Park?
  5. How does the Katana compare to the old Triumphs? I skied a Triumph before, just nobody around here has a Katana.
  6. I think this can be applied to the water as well. In the glide zone before the gates slightly push knees over ankles to get that stand tall athletic stance for muscle memory.
  7. Congrats @Bruce_Butterfield and @The_MS, somehow having a beer and donuts for you guys doesn't sound all that good, so maybe a beer tonight and donut tomorrow morning. :)
  8. Back in the day I ordered a bunch from Wiley's. Always had the odd stuff I was looking for. Nice man and ran a great business.
  9. If you look at video of you against the "men" and some top "girl" skiers, more than likely you are still on a pulling edge when they are already on a turn edge and getting the ski behind the handle sooner in the pre-turn phase. Pay real close attention to how they attack the wake and what they do right behind the boat into the transition into the turning phase. If you can duplicate that, you too can ski like a "man".
  10. Years ago we put a 4-blade on a Hydrodyne and it improved the hole shot and rooster tail vs the stock 3-blade that it came with.

  12. The time between jumping in the water with ski on to getting back into the boat without ski any way possible. It use to be 10-12 passes and now seems to be in that 3-4 range... :(
  13. S was announced in mid-2018, so my guess is R.
  14. Even though I don't ski in tournaments anymore, I like to have a decent boat for friends I ski with that do. Just FYI: Rev S needs the new Puck in order to work, so if you are like me, running dual old Pucks on a 2007SN with Rev R, you need to change to the new Puck and the upgrade. The new 3-Event ZO Puck and harness is $450 and the S Upgrade is $50.
  15. Best all time is the 9100 240 AMP and then the original hand finished black EP Stiletto. I had a bunch of HO's during that time and while I could ski as well on them, I lacked consistency. Tried just about everything top of the line from O'Brien, Matercraft Lapoints, Connelly, Kidders (D3's first ski), even a Skunkworx (I think that is what it was called).
  16. Saucier's list of accomplishments indicates he takes credit for the first fiberglass waterski, the first foam core and first with rubber edges. https://www.mnwaterski.org/layout_container/show_layout_tab?layout_container_id=31131514&page_node_id=3193836&tab_element_id=105232
  17. Years ago when taking buoys off for winter with water just above freezing (yes I skied in that stuff when younger), we some how got the loosened stainless cable wrapped a few times around the prop. We didn’t have any dry suits or even swim trunks in the boat thinking it would be an easy task to pop the buoys off. I jumped in the water with just my Jockey briefs on. Man was that cold. No damage to the prop. Lots of shrinkage though! Now we always have a dry suit or wetsuit handy when we pull the course!
  18. I have a 2007 SN with ZO from factory, so it was before 2008.
  19. Dave could be considered the Steve Jobs of the waterski industry. While in Michigan he frequented most of the tournaments and was always accessible to any skier who wanted help with ski setup or whatever. He was for sure a pioneer in snow and waterski industries. The first time I strapped on a 9100 it was a game changer right out of the box.

  21. If you go trail cam route for security I would look for the highest megapixel you can find. My biggest pet peeve of security cameras we have used at our business is that the images are too fuzzy to properly identify the criminals. We got broke into in our Dallas Service Center at night and other than seeing a Mutt and Jeff image any facial features were not discernible. We have trail cams at our lake but they are from a son of an owner looking for deer activity. I always worry we will have some hillbilly steal them as well. I guess you can strap some razor blades on them so at least the criminal gets a nice surprise. I’d look at cellular remotes in high megapixel.
  22. One of my all time favorites that my daughter took from shore. Before Krispy Kreme hit the area...
  23. I have found all Wally products to hold up very well with less air leaks and better color retention than most.
