Love my Wileys! I am at the, could use large or medium. Ran large for many years. I tried the mediums back about seven years ago and just think they are so much better for me. I was concerned with cramping with the tighter bindings but have none, and they just fit so much better. I am to old to change much so I am betting I will ride with Wileys the rest of my ski time! Now if we can just get some warmer weather.

Its bean a cold spring up in central Michigan but we have got some time in. Not nearly as much is in years past. Saturday and Sunday lows to be below freezing. If its not cold its raining and windy! Four or five years ago I was in on March 17 in a shorty. What happened?

Yeper If you running gas through the boat in less the 30 or 40 days you are not going to see a drop in octane. Not enough to change the performance. Running more octane then needed gets you nothing other then less beer money in your pocket. Brake in today is not going to change the rings performance. Rings if you are getting good oiling will not touch the cylinder walls. They ride on a very thin coating of oil. Oil is pulled off the cylinder wall with a pressure difference. Some call the oil ring a scraper, Not so! If your ring were to ride on the cylinder wall they would ware so fast we woud be replacing them weekly!

We have three privet lakes near me ( Midland Mi.) But privet no clubs. I think one more but I have never seen it.

Michigan law has changed a USCG approved vest is now the law. And yes a DNR officer has every ability as any police agency and then some. They can inter privet property. And yes we have been sited for skiing without a spotter. I tried the one, we can ski without a spotter if practicing for a complication. They understood the law and it did not work. The fine is anything up to one hundred bucks. But by the time I got done with all the fees tacked on it was like one eighty! We do ski without a spotter often but never in hours the lake is seeing boat traffic. Any one have a nice looking manikin? Nothing I need to blow up...........

I had a very close call and we had two spotters. Both adults (skiers), I was just ready to pull out for a for lack of better word set of turns. ( open water skiing) I was at 41 off so not long rope. Just had a funny feeling as I started I pulled up and as I did a jet ski passed me less then 15 feet of my side. He passed me then cut our boat off. Our driver had to pull the throttle back to idle. I lost the jetski in front of the boat it was so close. In the end we found the kids and asked to talk with the parent. So 8:30 am the parent comes out of the house. He is a good 300+lbs beer in hand asking what can I do. We told him the issue and got back. Well no one got hurt! Yeper a big flag would have fixed that! Living on an all spots lake we are off the water before things get going on weekends. But I just cringe seeing some of the things we do. All the laws in the world will not fix stupid.

Yeper I think 12 x 12 orange or red flag any time you would have a rider going to be towed. Skier, boarder, tub. So I bet the law will not fit a surfer, He or she would not be towed! I can see a fight on that one.

Michigan is looking at making a flag for towing law. I hat seeing a Representative thinking A flag is going to fix people who do not understand safe towing. If any one on this site would be willing to drop a not to or leader I will add the purposed bill and its sponsor. How about a full size tow mirror and stop looking backwards! Wow, I have not posted in years now but still lurking. We have lost our course years ago so just open water skiing. So a quick update my melanoma has been gone for years and I am now down to annual checkups. I thank Wish for reaching out to me. It was good to talk with someone who had gone threw this. I have since had to deal with bladder cancer and was doing very well. My last check up found it had returned but had the tumor remove a week ago today so back to checkups every 3 months again. Still all in all I am doing very well. I am skiing better then I ever had so like a good wine I am getting better with age! Could be removing the little balls that give us so much grief and pleasure! In the end I just would say if any of you have any thoughts or see any reason to have concern get a check up, if you catch this crap early we have an amazing medical ability to deal with much of this. Good luck and prayers for all who can use them.

If you look at a Sunsetter LXI stay with 99 - 04 I ski two and at 34-36 MPH the wake is outstanding for slalom.

Dammer.... I was walking the lake today something like 12" of ice! We need to be in the water before March 17 to beat last year. Not likely but never give up hope.

The Ford Ecoboost reaches 90% of its peak torque down at 1,700 RPM. Something like 430Lb-FT It holds over 400 Lb-FT out past 4,000 RPM. I don't think it would be a big fuel saver pulling big torque numbers all the time. It cools the turbos even after key off witch is the cause of many turbo failures. It may be a good choice!

Just had my first fallow up checkup at my local dermatologist all went well, did get a spot on my arm removed. I lost my primary care doc to Obama care. He quit, I have an appointment next week with my new nurse practitioner. My annual physical after losing my regular Doc. Not sure what I think of this but well see? My primary care doc had me going the day after I called him with my melanoma concerns and moved my work down to Ann Arbor, I had five surgery's and done in less then three months. Thank you Doc's.

I carry a cup around so I can take water out of the toilet bowl before I sit down. Then my nut sack is not skinny dipping well I drop. Oh ya the hips and knees don't work well ether. What were we talking about.

Two engineers visiting from China. One who could not even swim the other had never been in water other then a pool or shower. One when he got up went around the lake yelling I Flying I flying...

We use collage team colors. Michigan blue Michigan state Green Nebraska red ...........

Its a DD but the best all around inboard IMHO is 09 to 04 sunsetter LXI. Very good ski boat. Not a bad boarding boat, with wedge add ballast and a roll bar! Now I could never do that but.

Love my D3 Still on a Z but never skied better. Very stable and forgiving.

Thanks. I have done many Bu's this will be the first 196. I took a quick look and thought the tank may need to come out.
