  4. Tube ! Tube!!! My need to flag this post...... And pictures, Is this not equivalent to Pornography ! What is this site coming to.
  5. I don't see a new fuel filter? First thing. But more info, is it running smooth, missing? What engine although this is not a matter just info EFI , Cabr? I would start with a fuel filter cheep and simple and often a culprit.
  6. I also picked up a set of 9" calipers digital from harbor freight. I was concerned about performance but they work and repeat!
  7. Silver spray keeps them many lengths in the pro shop. Nice rope! I did not feel any stretch after my first run but the first pass did feel as you said spongy. I also had a new handle.
  8. As a open water skier I would never talk about a cores skiers speed or line length. I find a cores one of the most humbling things an open water skier can do. I bet when your done you will not think you are as good as before you run a cores. I do know even open water skiing if I have skied well or not.
  9. Just picked up one last week 22-41 off nothing near $100.00 I think $69.00. I have not checked the length yet but I know it stretched big time first few runs. I don't feel it anymore.
  10. My Radars look more like a spaghetti strainer but still feel good. many seams opened up and some holes but still better then my old clinchers. I did go a lot tighter with the Radars. I need to get some more and some new handles. Next time I go past Silver Spray.
  11. Silver Spray Sports in MI are some of the best people in the sport. That is coming from a Bu owner. I have been treated so well by them.
  12. took a head over in a downhill race many years ago. Looking up I see a ski coming at my head. I put my arm up to block it It missed my upper head but went into my mouth took out all my front teeth split my lower lip. Kfennell hang in and get well.
  13. At 65 one of our old farts did both knees total replacement like Feb.8. Back on the water June 8. Now we are not hard core buoy chasers but he is skiing better than ever. He also had polio as a child so his trailing foot does not hold the weight like many of us. Good luck if yo do it.
  14. What handicap do I get, fat old decrepit knees and hips and don't ski for $hi#????????????????????????????????
  15. I am on a D3 Z7 I know old ski but I love it and it makes me look good. I thought my old Goode 9500 was also very forgiving. So I am going with the D3 also they work for fat old farts.
  16. Yahoo back on the ski tonight after 5 surgery's. 22 Days off from the last two visits. So good to be back on a ski and all done with everything!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Except getting to know my new dermatologist. Every 3 months for the next 4 - 5 years then every 6 months.
  17. I have them on my lift and like them but no experience on a trailer.
  18. I can't help but I think the windshield you are talking about started in 2007.
  19. Thoughts and prayers sent your way. Good luck and be strong.
  20. Got a carp last Sunday with the prop.
  21. richarddoane is on the money. I would start with the injectors. with the fuels today they could be trash. One thing people don't talk about much are valve springs, if they are week it can cost big H.P. Have a leak down test run on the engine. It should be very cheep to run some tests Leak down , compression fuel pressure valve spring seat and open pressure. If you do this you will know if a rebuild is needed or just some small amount of tune up work . I would not spend the money for a new boat if you are happy with yours!
  22. I keep two 6 gallon buckets with lids in the boat and it works good. If we pick up another skier witch we do often I just dump the buckets and stash them. I am just wondering what the effect of the torque of the prop has on the boat. I think the Rlxi has less hull in the water also. You do see a change in the wake when off balance.
  23. I am on a public lake and we ski illegal quite often, No spotter. I have a Rlxi and my bud has CC 196. I need to weight my Rlxi to compensate for driver only. The CC, it is not noticeable. My question, is this due to the what I will call the reverse rotation of the prop on the CC 196 ? If I had bucks to burn I would love to set up a Rlxi with a set up like CC. I know just go buy a CC. Should I just go ski and not think about this crap?
