  1. Bogie boarding in Maui :( Waiting in pre op for surgery as I type
  2. Have any of you had surgery on a partial torn triceps? (Tear off the elbow) if so how long before you were back on the water? Thanks
  3. Yes Thank You all for serving your countries, with out all of you we would not be able to enjoy all the freedoms that we do, again thank you. You will not be forgotten.
  4. At least he was wearing a life vest, safety first
  5. I had mine right hip done May 27 so it is 14 weeks post surgery today. I have not skied yet, was told to wait 6 months but have been riding my bike for the last 7 weeks every day for an hour, it's the best thing I ever did. I'm 53 and my PB is 4@38 and I plan on running it next year. Was told by my surgeon I would have no limitations, could do whatever I wanted, as long as I let it heal and get stronger. My advice is don't wait any longer, like I said it's the best thing I ever did, as I was in a lot of pain.
  6. I went from the k-palms to the D3 Enzo's the year the k-palms were crap and the Enzo's are just as good or better, but have thought about trying the new k- palms
  7. Not only is it a great place to shop, it's a great place to ski, Doug and Robby are the best
  8. @horton sorry to hear about your surgery, so what was the final prognosis? Torn bicep?
  9. Hey Horton, hope it goes well for you, I had hip replacement May 27th so can't ski for 6 months, so I feel your pain
  10. I had the same thing happen a few years ago, it may be a small tendon in your bicep, it heals fairly quick but your bicep won't look the same. No surgery required, It can happen at the top or bottom of the bicep, mine was at the bottom, but a friend of mine did both of his at the top
  11. I was worried at first, but he paid on PayPal my asking price and it was all good, no problem at all.
  12. I have a 2008 Zero off speed control for a Malibu for sale on SKI-IT-AGAIN (with pictures), used 1/2 a season on our club boat in 2009, when we sold our boat the buyer did not want the system, perfect working condition, has sat in my garage since then. Not sure what year or what boats it could be adapted to, sent an e-mail to Zero Off to ask that and got no response from them. Everything is there, not sure what year, boat company or if it can be adapted for an other brand, any thoughts on it would be helpful. The tag on it says EControls, Inc, M5GCP-INDAMAR, MalibuBoats, Inc. 3910513 Zero Off, MFG 11-13-2008, thanks
  13. @Ed_Obermeier I am going in for total hip replacement on May 27th and I can't wait, I have been dealing with the pain for about 5 years and enough is enough as I'm sure you know. You will be fine, and back skiing sooner than you think, I know some guys with new knees and they are back skiing, they say it is that it is as good as new. Make sure you get a great surgeon who says that you will be back skiing. The first one I saw said that he could only get me back walking and that I should look for a desk job ( I am a firefighter, and I work with 6 other guys that have had a hip replacement). HE IS NOT DOING MY SURGERY. The one that is doing mine told me that if I do the rehab, get it strong, that I will have no limitations what so ever, it will be as good as new, but no skiing for 6 months, so I am skiing as much as I can till I have the surgery. :-) I can't walk very good for a day or so but it is worth it. Keep working out and keep it strong as the stronger it is before the surgery the quicker you recover. Good luck
  14. @scotchipman Where can you get that drysuit? They look like they would work great.
  15. Here are the top 8 after the first round 1 Chad Scott - 5@39 2 Harald Hintringer - 5@39 3 Bruce Dodd - 3@39 4 David Miller - 2.5@39 5 Marc Shaw - 1@39 6 Todd Ristorcelli - 5@38 7 Greg Badal - 3.5@38 8 Kris LaPoint - 2.5@38
  16. I just sold a Goode Nano Twist on ski it again also thought it was a scam, but they paid me on PayPal, got the money and all was good. I just did it a couple of days ago
  17. Thanks @oldjeep, other people have had the exact email as I got, sounds like it is legit. @Horton, I have never sold anything through Paypal just bought with it, have sold a couple of ski's on SIA and have got certified checks and never had a problem. The e-mails I got just seem weird
  18. I just got the same e-mail from this Elly about my ski, I just seem a little uneasy about the whole thing
  19. Have any of you been scammed on SIA? I posted a ski for sale and have got 3 people interested in it the next day. All of them want to buy it on my Paypal account. They are all Asian names and the grammar in the e-mails is very strange, has anyone else had this problem? Thanks.
  20. I got my metal wall slalom skier about a week ago, it is a beautiful piece of art, looks great in my man cave :)
  21. @TFIN is not only a great coach but a great guy as well as Canadian :)
  22. I think what @Horton is getting at, is that not only do we have to adjust our fin for ski style, water temp, etc. now we have to adjusted it to A B C 1 2 3 on Zero Off also
  23. Just a heads up before you glue your seals, I glued my seals to finish off the season last year, then sent my suit into O'neill to get them replace them. They sent my suit back and said they won't replace the seals if you glue them yourself. I then sent my suit to Promotion Wersuits and they replaced the seals. They did a fantastic job, I will never deal with O'neill again
  24. About the leaky seals, I use shrink wrap, you can wrap your seal with it. It works great and doesn't do any damage to your suit. You can buy it at Walmart or Home Depot, small rolls of it
