  1. I did only run a ventral on the front of my A2 last season.
  2. Kona, Give it a rest. I have been to 14 degrees. Brakes are brakes.
  3. After watching Regina on that Goode Nano, It makes my want to take one for a test drive. Wow! I love my A2! But I think I'd like to see what all the hoopla is about on that ride. It sure looked good. I may be too old to teach new tricks.
  4. I opted to wifey's honey do's for slalom finals so I could watch jump finals. I may be getting my identity figured out. Hmmmm.
  5. Once again: MS is wrong! Bob and Kris skied the 1980 season with a fixed, welded wing on their MasterCraft SuperStar slaloms. They kept the ski under wraps until after the 1980 Nationals in Tyler, Texas at Garden Valley Resort. Notice the weld on the bottom of the wing. I am not positive on the timelines of wing evolution. I know Schnitz claims being it's inventor. I think Kris was first, Schnitz second and George Schubert had the first adjustable wing with his Acuski Company.
  6. Razorskier is right! (unlike MS). When it ceases to be fun, go find something else to do. After 52 years of slalom skiing, It Is Fun! Bouys are a humbling necessary evil!
  7. They don't trade enough paint for me.
  8. No word. If it is going to happen, it better happen in the next week or it will be next season.
  9. Smoothly throttle it up to speed and when it engages, push it a touch more. If you are getting accurate 1 ball times and slow 3 ball times, correct end course times. Adjust your baseline. ie: 1:77, 7:15, 16:95 then take 5 RPM's out of baseline. It should compensate nicely.
  10. Ballers are way cool. It's an amazing "coconut telegraph"!
  11. You'll Love it! Drives great! Skis better!
  12. Bruce, I am happy the kids are jumping!
  13. Why not just ski with what is available? Is ZO really that big of a deal? We ski with a 95 MC Prostar 190 with PP, a 99 Malibu Response with PP, a 00 Malibu Response with PP StaRgazer AND A Z-Box, A 2006 Malibu Response LXI with PP, a 2008 CC 196 with ZO and a 2011 Malibu Response LXI 6.0 Liter with ZO. Just getting to go to the lake and water ski is a great day. I will admit that it is nice to have 300+ Horsepower, but as far as the speed controls, I don't think that it makes a "hill-of-beans" difference in any of our skiing. IMHO

  15. 99.9999999% of thre time, MS is wrong.
  16. HMMMMM. I think I'll stay away from this one.
  17. T-Factors! No hard shells! #1. Murdock Dog Slobber, #2 Barbasol shaving cream #3. Cheap watered down dish washing soap #4. Cheap watered down Suave shampoo.
