  3. I found this PerfectPass video showing how to setup the Zbox. The site is still underdevelopment but this video works. http://skiall6.com/2012-01-24-03-48-51/2012-01-26-18-00-49/using-perfectpass-z-box-
  4. I completely understand your point. I'm 5 months post ankle injury and still not fully healed.
  5. Has anyone tried using inline skate liners in their ski bindings?
  6. @OB, Air filled buoy. We recently purchased a set of bubble buoys but the lake level is down, not to mention cold, so we will wait till spring to install them. Some of our turn buoys are in 4 feet of water, but will be around 6-8 feet in the spring. I wear my RS-1 laces loose but when hitting a buoy it's possible for the ski to twist before the foot releases.
  7. Turned too early and ran over 3 ball (off side turn).
  8. I've been essentially off the water for 3 months because of an ankle injury. I was on RS-1s. Front foot released and back foot didn't. So, moving the stress point away from my ankle sounds like a good idea. Also, keeping both feet in or both feet out sounds like a good idea.
  9. I know of two skiers who received some for testing prior to full availability. Both indicate it takes about 5 sets to get use to them, couldn't get the ski to turn. After that they thought they were great. Safety seems the big selling feature.
  10. make sure the rotation is correct.
  11. I used the orange polyforms on two different lakes. On the private ski lake the color faded badly in about 4 months. On the larger public lake they seem to hold color as well as other buoys.
  12. If you are using the Fogman release mechanism with or without the Fogman boots, how would you rate the effectives of the release mechanism? Any falls where it doesn't properly release?

  14. So would that be 56 kph - 34.8 mph or 57 kph - 35.4 mph?
  15. No off season here, just fewer ski days from Nov - Feb.
  16. I hit the three ball 10 days ago. My rear foot (RFF) came partially out then slamed back into the ski, twisted my ankle and bruised the bottom of my foot. It's still too painful to ski. I was early and just turned too soon.
  17. @Wish, Jeff is more old school, "pull harder", "pull longer." But there is no denying his results.
  18. I think the 43@43 is 43off at age 43
  19. Wish, You are right. I received some coaching from Jeff in June.
