  1. I was under the impression rec mode was b2, but the poet in me says this was a long time ago and I have no clue.
  2. Why is there do much pushback on this? What's wrong with making it easier or more convenient?
  3. My guess is it's threaded, not notched
  4. The tail is delaminating? the fin block is on backwards?
  5. The Q-coller has been disputed repeatedly. One example that has sources: Science of Sport Podcast
  6. Yup! That's on my list of what to check when you're in a slump
  7. @jhughes, that's a recent thing with the new overlays, not related to your technique. I run double t-factors. Replace the front yearly and put it on the back (they do soften up)
  8. Imho, I think you're on track with that thinking @Horton
  9. @HortonThat was not aimed at you, I thought you were a proponent of reverse C. Lots of things are misunderstood. There are several ways to skin a cat. @Mastercrafter, I’m not sure if you're being sarcastic, but it's when the skier is off his pulling edge but his upper body is still away from the boat in a "pulling" position.
  10. The "reverse C" that everyone now bags on. very pronounced change of ski direction in about 3' (up course) No tan Short shorts
  11. Im not a betting man, but I'll bet that a majority of elite skiers had their kids on a cut ski
  12. After the pesky kids are flushed out of there
  13. Didn't know the Turn n Burn was still a thing. I did a trial t&b way back when. Submitted results and a poll back to HQ (or whoever the individual was that was pushing for it). Overwhelming majority hated it--were actually mad. Hours baking in the sun for judges and drivers. The few that liked it weren't around to fill out the survey 😉 Anyway, fell on deaf ears. It was going to "save our sport".
  14. Seems to be approaching ridiculous...
  15. Your question is kind of all over the place, you should go back to stock settings.
  16. That sounds scary if it takes you 2 seconds to get to the ramp🥶
  17. That's a bit strong, just people with opinions. I used to bolt 2 hardshells down on plates. Never got hurt. Destroyed my ankle, twice, in rubber bindings.
  18. An Open friend of mine went to Goode Lake. Starting at 32, RFF, center punched the zero ball and beat it in. IIRC, went a little later after that
  19. @LoopSki Don't sell the house yet. I was right there with my second ankle break--so nasty it took me 10 days to find an Ortho that would even attempt to work on it. I truly thought I might not ski ever again. Several years later I'm back at it. I finish where I used to start, but I continue to enjoy this sport with my family and friends 🤙
