  1. This whole thread has parked right in front of the Pandas' house.
  2. ML Pro is the best rope ever made. For decades I never had to adjust one --always in tolerance for tournaments, and skied great out of the bag. A home run 50 feet over the fence. I use to run 39 fairly often. I could not even run a complete pass, at any length, with an optimized rope. I would seriously quit the sport if that was my only choice. Matter of fact, that's when I stopped entering Nationals. I guess if you weigh 140 lbs it doesn't matter, but for us adults: A complete whiff, look-up-into-the-sky and pull-your-shoulder-up-with-the-hardest-swing-you-can-muster whiff.
  3. @skiboyny a total home run.
  4. @ETskier all ropes are fine except the optimized. Optimized are total crap, and yes might as well not ski ever again
  5. That's right on point. 7'4" (2.2 meters in Florida) Rumored 8-foot wingspan, and not bulky. Size 20 shoes might be limiting.
  6. More drama sounds like.🙄
  7. Ah, right @Sivota 🙄 Thanks! I thought R4 was the final round
  8. But it shows a tie breaker with no tie
  9. @BlueSki greasing the rudder is important. Tightening that joint should help, On MasterCrafts they retro fill that gap with washers
  10. Personally, I would respect and trust the designers and use the fin it came with
  11. Waterskiing @ lake Powell is much better up North. San Juan arm might still be good, I was there 140 feet ago
  12. @lpskier while I basically agree with you, and Open should be near the middle of Regionals to give "fans" better odds of seeing the show, an unintentional consequence is the incredible burden that puts on the LOC (half a dozen cameras, 25 judges per buoy, chief judges from half way around the world, paid drivers...). As usual, I’m being slightly sarcastic, but, am I?
  13. Yep. I use + on v.S, so have to get creative when v.R shows up (where + just sucks) gotta pump up the malibus and centurions a bit too
  14. Oh, I know, Greg Sund!! Probably twice in one weekend💪
  15. Nailed it @mike_mapple i don't want to name names, but the initials of anyone who can run 43 at any speed are Andy Mapple or Nate Smith
  16. Nailed it @mike_mapple i don't want to name names, but the initials of anyone who can run 43 at any speed are Andy Mapple or Nate Smith
  17. @MISkier Awsa doesn't want to rush into things. It's been, what, 6 years?* *sarcasm font
  18. I could be wrong but I don't think v.S + over speeds the gate x2 the non + setting. regardless, nothing like PP
  19. That's what Freddie did, ended up on a d3
  20. Slightly off topic, but it would be negligible, if really at all. A switch, for instance, triggers at 40#. How much sooner do you get to 40# with a rope? My firsthand experience: saying you weigh more will just get you faster times. Turn of Stargazer, get a switch, raise your KX, a lot, run at least 40 on the switch. The problem is still with the gate. PP goes in hot and lets you pull it down. ZO does not. or, from what I hear, get Zbox, spend all summer getting it dialed-in, then Bob's your uncle👊
