  1. Just pull the fin out of the ski and wrap the ski in towels.
  2. A - with skiers comments on pass if possible.

  4. John, Video: 16:9 720P (1280 x 720) 30 FPS progressive scan.
  5. alex38, I have a new flip ultra HD camcorder with case, HDMI cable and USB extension cable for sale. I'm a retailer and have one left. Terry admin at vidkingdom dot com
  6. Thanks to everyone that took advantage of the BOS Special! The response has been great, still a couple of days left. Terry
  7. Anyone else with a front ventral and a EZFintool? Are .300 and 1.000 the measurements necessary to clear the ventral? I'm especially interested in someone with a non-homemade ventral on their ski.
  8. OK, .400 from the bottom of the ski and it will clear the ventral, What about the distance for the cut from the current front edge of the fintool? Is 7/8" enough? Wondering if just making it shorter would work or if having the length on the ski surface helps in holding it steady while measuring?
  9. Brent, Good point! I would want to know measurements from several skiers with front ventrals as to how much shorter it would have to be. On mine 7/8" would be plenty. I'll check but I think we still need enough material to have a mounting hole in the front part of the tool to hold it when its being cut. Any other suggestions or issues? I could change the tooling before the next production run if needed. Terry
  10. KM, I wished everyone just used the EZFT. Since the "Flat" measurement is used most, I still recommend you move the fin on your ski as far forward as you can and measure DFT both flat and with the EZFT and compute the difference, it will be in the neighborhood of .100". When measuring DFT, simply open your caliper to the number that you calculated for your ski, reset it to zero, and measure with the EZFT and the number you get will be the "flat" measurement. Of course you only have to do this once, and your good to go. On my ski its .099 and I wrote it on the EZFT with a sharpie. Connelly does have DFT settings on their website to the end of the ski, so their factory settings are EZFT ready. Horton has one so he could give flat and/or EZFT measurements for the ski tests? Terry
  11. DW, Here is how I fixed mine for a homemade front ventral. I figured out where the slot needed to be and drilled a hole the size of the slot and at the front of it. Then you just need to use a hacksaw to make the hole into a slot. A little work with a file to clean it up and you're done. Two hints, Clamp the tool in a vise between two pieces of wood so the vise doesn't leave marks on the tool and drill slowly. Do you already have a tool? If not I could probably slot one for you if I had some measurements. Richard, Thanks, Alot of you have taken advantage of the deal! I just had a new batch built so its a win for all of us!
  12. Ral, email me at mtjb48 at yahoo dot com with your mailing address and I'll get the rate from the post office tomorrow.
  13. Ral, The extra cost for shipping isn't very much, however I have had nightmares with holdups in customs sometimes as long as 6 weeks. If someone is going to be going your way from the states, that would be best, but I'm willing to try to mail it to you. Terry
  14. During the month of October, BOS readers can get a EZFintool for $35 shipping included, a savings of $5. If you struggle getting accurate DFT readings, the EZFT is for you. If you would like to measure depth without removing the wing, the EZFT is for you. If you're not familiar with it, check it out at ezfintool.com. This special price is not available on the website, you can pay it via Paypal to admin@vidkingdom.com, Mail me a check, email me for the address, ezfintool@yahoo.com or I can take your MC or Visa over the phone. Thanks to all of the Ballers who have purchased them in the last couple of years! Its not too early to think about Christmas gifts for your ski buddies. Terry
  15. Than, Email me your mailing address at ezfintool@yahoo.com and I,ll get it on the way. Congrats to the winners! Terry
  16. I'm a whiner and ski at 15 & 22 off. The 11 Mastercraft we get in our tournaments is way worse than the Malibu or CC. The last time I skied behind one, there were 4 skiers in my class all starting at either 15 or 22 off, the best score was 5 in the round with the MC. I lost a contact lens and had a headache for two days after I went OTF between the 5 & 6 ball. Terry
  17. Laku has a 11 promo also. Its a great boat!
  18. I ski out there and agree. Isn,t that up to the chief driver? If its a 3 event tourney, the MC makes a good trick/jump boat
  19. For me, the dif between 30 & 32 is that you have to be more aggressive at 32.
  20. AB, after "customization" wouldn't it measure long?
  21. Thanks John, Congrats to David for taking first and Lydia for placing second. Lydia, send me your mailing address to ezfintool@yahoo.com and I'll get your EZFintool on the way! Terry
  22. Sounds good, are you taking it as of the day the skier enters or as of the day he/she skis, which means it could change during the month?
