It looks like Goode is using jaws. You are right about that being inaccurate from caliper to caliper. Tips is the best way to measure. If you call Goode, I bet he can give you length measured with the tip.

Champ, I think everyone agrees with you that those guys are for real. This is just an interesting discussion about whether endurance enhancing devices should be allowed in competition. Is there more to it than endurance? What if the main limiting factor in your skiing is your strength to weight ratio and ability to keep the handle in? Does this vest help with that? If so, it could make a 35 off skier run much deeper shortline. I don't think the PV should be banned. We don't want to exclude people from our sport. I favor the suggestion to make a notation in scoring or a PV division.

I thought it was already banned. The Berkeley Wednesday night ski league banned it a while ago. I have never seen one, but I think you should have to use something like that in a special division. You have all probably seen the amputees that get carbon fiber lower legs and can sprint and jump much better than before. Greg Badal ran 5 @ 41 at Liquid Zone in Norcal this afternoon behind a 200. Class C tournament but it was very clean. I believe there is boat path video.

I looked at it and you guys are right. The Elite has both rear patterns. When I had D3 bindings on it, it used the fwd most rear holes on the back binding. Now that I have Radar plates, it uses the furthest back holes on the rear part of the back binding. Sorry Steven for the incomplete info.

Steve, I have Radar Strada boots on an Obrien Elite and they matched up.

I got a pair of Stradas this week from Horton. One was perfect and the other had the toe bed fabric bunching up. I called Eddie yesterday and he said it could be cut out or Gorilla taped down. I was lazy and chose to Gorilla tape it. He said to put the tape within two inches of the front and press it onto the toe bed fabric. Then, pull it back toward the heel and press it down. He suggested one or two strips of tape and to do both boots, even though one boot was fine. It was really easy.

RD, I have some video of him jumping but I thought it was more important to retaliate for the Goofy and Lady Gaga thing first. I'll post some old video of him doing all 3. Slalom was arguably his weakest event, not that he had one.
