  1. It makes a lot more sense after reading Chad's post. Hopefully there will be more pro tournaments in the future. It is a shame there are so many great skiers and so few chances to watch them ski.
  2. How do you get a bad boat time with zero off? Sounds odd. I have never seen one. Sounds a lot like when Jason Paredes won Moomba and they gave Andy a re-ride for rollers or when Mcnerney and I tied for 26th place at Regionals in Montana and they wouldn't let us run it off.
  3. That was funny. I am not the only one who makes fun of Horton Everyone makes fun of Horton. Did you see his tweet about it being a good day at ski west where he is covertly filming 12 yr olds again? http://ow.ly/i/2XEw
  4. Stradas are awesome. They are very comfortable and will not take long to get used to.
  5. You must ski tournaments because it will make you chase buoys and forget about good technique. You will look at your regionals pictures and not be able to believe you ran a pass with the handle that high on your chest (it looked like an old LaPoint photo) You will quickly regress into pathetic and be ridiculed by your so-called friends. You will finally decrease the boat speed to 34 mph only to find that it is more difficult. You will sign up for a tournament in Louisiana and agree to meet Horton there. You are insane.
  6. I'm pretty good with a bo staff
  7. Kona, try emailing Ryan Hughes. His email is ryan@squareoneco.com
  8. Those pics are great. Boody, did you see 29 and 30 of Kim? Great pics.
  9. Kona, call Eddie or anyone at Radar and tell them what happened. You'll have your fin ASAP. Radar has great customer service. Just got a new Senate C for the wife and it was here in two days. I have had the same great service on parts.
  10. will be a good time. Im not sure about being hortons life partner though. Maybe he will break out the bee outfit!
  11. Disregard found them. For info they are 65 28.5 6.825 2.485 0.85 7
  12. I have a 65 Senate C arriving today for the wife and wanted to know what numbers people are running on this ski. I better mention I bought it from Horton so it may be way off.
  13. Just entered. Not sure about a tournament with Horton.
  14. Thanks Ward and JT. It turns out Kus didn't have to buy a vest...he took 2nd in open division slalom and they both returned to him.
  15. I got to try on a PV at Regionals today. This thing is amazing! I didn't get to ski in it but wearing it around the dock I was able to steal Kuziak's ski and girlfriend. I guess he'll have to buy one if he wants them back.
  16. I tried one many years ago and it was a giant nightmare when I returned the ski. They didn't want to return the money. They said I put inserts in the ski. The ski came with inserts for Wileys. They did finally issue a credit on my card after many headaches. I bet it is much better now. Many people have complained on these forums and Dave Goode has said he is making customer service/warranty a top priority. I never hear anyone complaining about the performance of his products. I know several people riding Goode skis and they love them.

Well put Skidawg. I was nervous about ZO after reading all of the comments on the web. I was pleasantly surprised after getting a couple rides behind it. I tried everything from A1 to C3 in the same ride at 32 off and could not find a setting that felt really bad. I just need to pick a setting and stick with it. The only thing that felt really different was the gate timing.
  18. Scot, I am not sure if this link will work but I'll give it a try. Just click which type of report you want (seeding), the division (M3) and click on display report. http://www.usawaterski.org/rankings/view-registration.asp
  19. Horton won't go to Idaho even though I offered him a Southwest ticket and a place to stay. I think it has to do with his weight gain....
  20. I'm in. I look forward to meeting you and helping drink some beer.
  21. I had a great time in Oregon. Boody and his wife are awesome skiers and great people. The tournament was very well organized and fun. The site is amazing. If you get a chance, I highly recommend Pulligan Pond. Excellent conditions and nice people (except for Ryan, who is banned from all Sacto area tournaments until further notice)
  22. Get some good coaching. Get your body position/technique/timing right instead of just trying to get the maximum buoy count. Quality is much more important than quantity.
  23. Did they send you a free pair of shorts with the ski?
