Darwin is staying at the house for nationals while I'm gone and the Vice isn't locked up. Way cooler than that 2 ball special he's riding. Hope it's there when I get back.

I'm in South Africa on business, but still got a Skype that the winner received her check today from BOS. She was pretty pumped. Was surprised though by the check being for the full amount. She was expecting Horton to subtract the cost a bottle of bourbon for Gallager's birthday gift. Hopefully she won't spend it all before I get home. Thanks!

I had them between 29 1/2 and 29 5/8. Tried to go back to 29 1/4 and loved it on my heel side, but too much slide on my offside when they were back that far.

Scot, The numbers I ran on that ski were 6.814, .754, 2.495, 9 wing. I think the one you are talking about is my old ski. It was shipped straight from Dallas and I didn't get to set it up. I would try this and see if it works well. Marc

I tried to get a speech out of the winner before I left for the airport at 4am, but she wasn't very talkative. All I got was "Thanks to BOS, Eagle, and Radar for all the great support. Special thanks to T$." She has to treat him to BWW after this. Also, other than home she says, "Cottonwood is the best site on earth and were going back next year a bunch." Thanks JD. I have used the ARS handles for several years and my wrist and elbows feel much better. Every time I try to go back to standard ones I can't do it. It's like crack. The only issue was the rubber compound had awesome grip, but wouldn't last long. This year HO changed the rubber compound and made it much harder. The new ones I got were so slippery I couldn't even hold on. I found every old one I could strung with spectra and bought them up so I would at least be able to get through for a season or two. Figured I was screwed. Luckily, Masterline will wind these by request. Problem fixed. Awesome grip that actually last, ARS wound, RG service. Couldn't be any better.

Doesn't seem softer, but different dampening. In the 1st set my neighbor ran into 39. Ski does not feel slower either. My comment was your selling it too cheap and individuals will 2nd guess it. Core is machined like the strada. Whole thing seems like top quality.

Horton, Â Think that works

To get into the main event head to head you would have to be one of the top qualifiers just like a BD event. I'm anticipating a cash payout so that would be straight forward. Any mens 3,4, 5 or 6 could ski the tournament and try to qualify. Possibly also have an alternate under the lights head to head that is handicapped for non main event qualifiers who bid to get in. Just thinking out loud. They did this at lakes of Katy this year. If we keep the main event to 12 will have a little more time for an alternate head to head. Would be a late night, but sure we would all be up late anyway doing something. Not sure you are allowed to compete in any of the Sunday events without a hangover.

Thoughts on events and schedule Late June or July is usually good here. Or after nationals. Saturday Lake 1 MM Head to Head qualify during day and finals at night. Either 12 or 16 person field depending on entries (If 12 top 4 get a 1st rd bye) Lake 2 C class slalom (possibly trick also, but takes a lot more work judging) Sunday Lake 1 Trick slalom Plank Slalom Jumper slalom Overall winner is BOS King of the course for a year 2nd lake available all day for homeowners  Need thoughts so I can talk to the HOA and get it going.

Shane, Two things -She is probably the only thing Kim & I have around we wouldn't sell. You get a little attached after awhile. Plus I get to ski more with her around. -Bet you had to look up how to spell pterodactyl before posting.

D Wolters, Between yourself and Bail, RadaR is dominating to date. Sultan will be pumped if he can claim this in the brochures. Think Horton is working on the winner getting an auto bid into the masters. Serious respect. BOS on the rise!

Keep throwing ideas and dates around. Once we have it close I'll talk with the HOA and try to get this going. College nationals is here in a few weeks. Would pale in comparison to the "Ballers Bash."Â
