  1. @Wish .... Thanks for the info..I've been using the Neoprene ones for years..This looks like a great product. Was a little concerned about the strings lasting but it says it comes with a 5 year Warranty. I'd be happy if it lasted one year. As per your recommendation I just ordered one. Waterski code worked and it said free shipping today only. Total $59.95
  2. Skied behind a new 2020 SN this weekend and it was terrible !! First of all I have been a Nautique Guy for years. I own a SN200 6.0L and Love it. My Ski Partner had a 2017 200 5.7 and just bought a new 2020 200 6L that they delivered Sat. Three of us were there to ski behind it. Short story, it had issues so he called the local dealer and they said they would come pick it up and bring a 2020 6.2L SN to use while his boat was in the shop. We were excited to try it since only one of us has skied the new SN. Their driver picked up the 200 and left us the SN with no instructions how to set up ZO, Micro Tuners, and found out the hard way, Ballast. Thought that was just for trick. Got ZO set up and I was the first to ski. Started at my usual opener of 28 off and it was set up at A2 34 MPH. I normally use C2+ in the 200, but heard that may be too much so decided to work my way up. Came around the turn lining up with the course and the boat was leaning sideways to the left. Wake felt terrible so we put the observer in the very center next to the Driver. That leveled out the boat more, but the wake centerline felt hard as a rock going through it. Made 6 passes working my way up to C2+ but the wake at centerline was "REALLY HARD" and would totally throw you off. Bottom line was, it was the worst set of my life. Even ended up pulling a Chest Muscle so no more skiing for a while. Plus the Ballast thing was a nightmare. Question ??? Would setting the Micro -Tuners to say 38 soften the wake more, even at skiing 28 off.
  3. I use a Fish Scale to hold the right tension with my John Deere and a tree. Works great.
  4. Get a new Masterline 2.0....Best line ever !!!!
  5. I found that the S-Wing added Drag. It worked OK at 5 degrees, but a Small Flat wing gave the same performance results without the added Drag.
  6. I have used all the Camaro products for years and have found nothing warmer. The only problem is longevity. I would like to hear from Ballers about the new Syndicate Top and Shorty and how they compare with Camaro. They look amazing.
  7. @owennibley ... I believe @185 you would want a Med...I am 6'4"@220 on a Large and it performs better than my 68" NRG. Actually pops you out of the water easier on start and accelerates better. Great Ski, Love it !!
  8. Thanks Guy's, if the Lions don't eat me I will check into these. The site I mentioned is only 3.5 miles North of the Zoo off HWY 160. L shaped perfect looking ski lake.
  9. @MattP....Believe me, you really don't want to know. If you ever thought skiers were crazy it doesn't even compare to the Exotic Animal Business. We started raising Big Cats and other Exotics back in the 80's. Animal rescue has always been my Wife's thing and she knows everyone in the Exotic World. She will be the first to tell you their all Nuts, including herself. It's a requirement !!!
  10. Just checking to see if anyone is familiar with a Private Ski Lake owned by Ed Sanders in Charlestown, Indiana. My Wife, who has been heavily involved in the Net-Flix series Tiger King, has been asked to take over a Wildlife Sanctuary, that supplied over half the animals to Tiger King...Since I would be going back and forth between there and Orlando was checking on the ski possibilities near by...Thanks.
  11. Went in Mon. to get a ML 2.0..They were out at that time, so Mike went by ML the next morning and brought one back. Hard to beat service like that !!!
  12. Total appreciation for what Tony and his folks accomplished...Tony does a great job by bringing in Pro Skiers to Co-Anchor the narration...Freddy Kruger and Wade Cox added so much to the commentary, turning them into coaching sessions for the rest of us. It is just fantastic to not only enjoy watching the competition but to also learn something in the process. Really enjoyed seeing the ZO settings for the skiers, which for some I was surprised to see. Thanks so much to Tony and the TWBC for outstanding coverage. The Bar has really been raised...GREAT JOB "THANKS SO MUCH."
  13. @adamcaldwell....I can testify that You and Cord absolutely advanced technology in developing the C75. Hands down the best ski I have ever been on. Just does everything well with NO bad habits. I normally buy a new ski every year after testing 3 or 4. I was also very worried about being 6'4"@220 on a 65" ski. Sounded insane to me. However, best decision I ever made. The technical aspect of my skiing has advanced significantly since this ski has allowed me to try new techniques that other skis would have put me in the Lake. Thank you for all the hard work and technical advice. Skiing is a lot more fun again.
  14. Definitely deserves it,,,Great accomplishment..Congrats !!!!
  15. Spent a great part of my life chasing Tail, looks like it's taken a new direction !!!
  16. @skibug....Both are very forgiving skis and easy to ride. Both also have an outstanding offside turn no matter how you tune it. With the NRG you tune it for the onside turn. A washer under the middle screw of the fin block, about .030 difference, will equal the turns. Washer Left if your RFF. Actually learned that from the Denali Guy's. With the stock fin on the NRG the Denali beats it hands down. However, with the CG or WF tuned right, they become a lot closer. I have to say I absolutely LOVE the Denali. It just does everything I tell it to and allows me to confidently experiment with lots of new ideas. Absolutely has NO bad habits. One of my ski partners tried the NRG and likes it better than his Radar Pro-Build. In fact he informed me Sat. that I can not have it back and he is on it full time now.
  17. @skibug...@ISP6ball.... I'll give you my numbers, but highly suggest you find your own following one very simple method. The beauty of the WF is it's ability to control Smear. If you start with the stock numbers, those are very stable. Also, the deeper and farther back the fin is the more stable it becomes with the least amount of Smear. Start bringing the fin forward and shallowing it in small increments. You will feel how much faster it will turn and Smear. Bringing bindings forward will help in this setup. Always keep the fluke holes and alignment bars parallel with the bottom of the ski. You only change Depth and DFT. Here are my numbers, they give me Max Smear and are setup for shorter lines. They also make the ski feel nervous from side to side when lining up for the course. C75 Large, Bindings 29 1/4, DFT 1.994 Depth 2.465 Length 5.703 Wing 7 degrees. NRG WF Numbers: Bindings 30 1/2, DFT 1.970 Depth Left 2.469 Right 2.500 Length 5.725 Small Wing 7 degrees. Currently working on Technique Changes, so I have the CG Fin on my C75 and here are it's numbers: Bindings 29 1/8, DFT 1.015 Depth 2.430 Length 7.012 Wing 5 Degrees
  18. True, I did use both fins on my NRG as well as my C75. Both fins are way better than any stock fin. It would really come down to individual preference. The CG fin is the easiest to set up and the most forgiving. It also has no bad habits. You can experiment all over the place from long/shallow to short/deep. The Whisper Fin is a really great short line fin. You can only move it in 2 dimensions vs 3, since the fluke holes must stay aligned with the bottom of the ski. I really like it performance wise and go back and forth on my C75 with both fins. I do get the most stability from the CG Fin and use it exclusively when working on new technique. When the WF is tweaked just right it will make the ski edge hunt while lining up with the course. That makes some skiers feel nervous using it, but will really perform when in the course. It turns unbelievably though. Bottom line is that either fin is a vast improvement over a stock standard fin that has been around for decades.
  19. What a Great Guy..What happened ???
  20. I have been a Fan of and used the Eagle Platinum for many years, but this year I switched to the NEW Ultralite. It is by far the best vest I have ever skied. Go check one out, it virtually weighs nothing. Sheds water and fits so well you hardly know your wearing a vest at all. I actually went down one size because it stretches so well. 5 Stars !!!!
  21. Falling at 1 ball on my opening pass is more of a concern than Covid in Louisiana. Just go and have fun and do the best you can. Great people running the show there, who have treated me and my Family very well in the past !!!
  22. @Stevie Boy .... Believe me when I say "I do not have the talent that they have." This ski is simply the easiest ski to be on, "EVER." It just simply does what you tell it to do, Other skis I have had to tune to specifically run short line passes and sacrifice the ease of longer lines. With the C75 it just doesn't matter. I can not tell the difference at all. It just simply has no Bad Habits, it just does what you tell it to do. The more technically advanced you are the better it will reward you. I am the only limiting factor on this ski. I run C2 Plus on this ski, and it is the only ski that allows me to do that. It stays in total control and is very forgiven of mistakes. It has saved me from many OTF's on my offside. Still working on that offside forward lean and cast out. Another benefit is that it just pops you out of the water on pull up. Blows my mind that a 65" ski can do that when you are 6'4"@ 220. I just have to say it is the easiest high performance ski to ski on and is not sensitive to having the perfect numbers dialed in. Some are just better than others.
  23. Its stated that last year some 63,000 people died from the Flu. So far this year I have not heard of ONE case of the Flu, let alone anyone dying from it. Just saying, seems really strange.
  24. Here in Fla. a massive amount are being tested everyday and the reason the numbers are higher. It is still less than 8% that are affected.
  25. @Stevie Boy .... Do yourself a favor and go with a Denali C75....It works just as well at 32 as it does at 34...Have found no difference whatsoever !!! Way better than what the old Wide-Ride was !!!
