    My Airline Retirement is OK right now, as long as bankruptcies don't start occurring. All my Waterski related expenses come out of my weekly Music Gigs which have gone to ZERO. Luckily my 200 is paid off and I got a new C-75 with Reflex 5.0 before all this crap started, so I am good for the season. Also blessed to have several rolls of Toilet Paper on hand !!!

    I once asked this question some years a go about open vs. closed with Andy Mapple. His answer was, "Find your most powerful Tug-of-War position, and that's what you should use." I just tied a handle to a tree with a 15 off section, social distancing, and found mine with a little experimentation. Has worked well for years.

    @ghutch ... Can you expand on that a little? Understand the forward lean coming into the turn, but are you saying from your fully leaned position, you are pulling yourself up and forward to initiate the swing ???

    @DaveD....Yea, this is the time of year they start coming out. Usually they are down by the water and will run from you, so it's not as bad as you might think. This Guy decided to come into our screened in Patio, a long way from the Dock. My Wife does Rescue Work and has Rescue Dogs here all the time. If I had not educated him in proper Social Distancing, she would have been scared to let any of the Dogs out again.

    Went out to ski yesterday morning and was greeted on my Patio by a Huge Water Moccasin who did not believe in Social Distancing. Pointed out his indiscretion via 357. Not a good time to be visiting an ER for Venom and not Virus !!

    I hope if you need anything or even future equipment you Guys order from Performance. I went down last week and bought some new gloves. The huge Florida Mall across the street has been closed and customers in that area are scarce. Plus a huge amount of customers in that area are from overseas which has been totally cutoff. Now Orlando has shutdown all non-essential business, though I consider Performance Highly Essential !!! Please support those that support us !!

    I remember going to Firebird Raceway back in the late 80's, where they had a Slalom Course that you paid them to raise, and went ahead and skied. Not sure what ever happened to that.

    DENALI all the way...And yes Cord and Caldwell, and even Horton, were big influences on that decision.

    A long time ago, Andy Mapple emphasized to me the importance of setting up the ski for 38 and accepting what it does at 32 and 35. He was quite emphatic about that point. Fortunate for me I was on a Mapple Ski without a great degree of difference.

    What makes a HUGE difference is to take a heat gun and heat mold the plate to custom fit your back. Keeps the plate from flexing and works a hundred times better.

    It's been great going to the Gym here in Orlando the last 2 weeks. Only an average of 3 people Max and the place is HUGE.....They even provide Sani Wipes.

    @Geppetto ... This has been a Great Thread and I hate to see it go into a Negative direction....Masterline is a great company that fully supports our sport. They are also a Sponsor for BOS. I personally use their ropes and handles because of their quality and performance, and will continue to do so.

    Went through the same thing when I got prices from both of them, do to the fact both considered the ski box to be Over-size. Thats what raised the price way up. Went with USPS for $35.00 from Orlando to Wisconsin.
