  1. I believe working out either at a gym or home with bands or circuit trading is alway beneficial. Strength will only get you so far. When skiing 38 and shorter technique will far out weigh strength when it comes to getting through the pass.
  2. Like many before this post I too am blown away by this tragic news. I have known Brett for 25 plus years. When I heard the news it stopped me in my tracks and brought me to tears. When living in Sacramento area always loved skiing with Brett at the lake. As stated in an earlier post he was alway such a positive voice and fun to hang out with. Since moving to Orlando area Brett would always make a plan to get together when he came down here whether for business or cheerleading with the family which lead to skiing multiple days together when able to. I believe Brett will be greatly missed in our little world we call skiing.
  3. @bdave6er brace maker is on to something. When I worked in a ski shop long before hardshells if a binding was a bit tight one way to stretch it out was to have a friend with a bigger foot put the binding on half dozen times and that would compress the foot bed down and stretch out the toe rubber. I would recommend using soap for ease.
  4. @Mateo_Vargas @Horton ski today also. No Camaro toe though. Water to warm. Gosh I love fla.
  5. @bdave6er the size of the binding is dependent on the toe rubber. If you are considering loosing the overlay that will not take the pressure off the top of your foot. Just loosen the lateral support around your ankle. It may be better to go with the next size toe rubber.
  6. Way before hard shells I used front and rear Willeys trick wrap for slalom. It was some of the best supporting binding for the time. I never had an issue releasing. If your looking for another option other than hard shells this is a great option. if you want a rear trick wrap you will have to build it.
  7. I believe it’s good for taking your driving to your next level. As said earlier you don’t want to drive to numbers of sure path and you still want to be in rhythm with the skier. If a driver uses it as an aide to help him see where he is in the course and when or if they are picking up the skier either too early or late that will only make the driver better.
  8. @skialex ok. Won’t put up anymore help post being that all you do is get slammed down
  9. The delta looks good. Have not been out there since I moved to fla. Almost makes me want to come out next year. Saw some familiar faces but not too many. As in the past looks like a great event. Love the head to head.
  10. If you have to place a thin sheet in 2 places then you may as well place a full sheet under the binding like a very playable plate. This set up really makes it tough to demo skis. Great concept bad design.
  11. @lpskier at least he took ownership of his mistake not too many people do that in today’s world
  12. Can you web cast the parties instead?Much more interesting and entertaining
  13. It can be restrung but it’s a HUGE PAIN IN THE ASS TO DO and it rarely comes out correctly. You need someone who know what they are doing . Not worth the effort or time.
  14. This pylon has been in the MC boats since the 90’s if not late 80’s. I have been to hundreds of tournaments and this is the first time I have never seen this happen. Not to sure on if the top coming loose is common or not. this mishap is definitely not the norm.
  15. @skierjp the bunks are on the frame. If I remember correctly the option style bunks raise the boat a bit more.
  16. @skierjp the new ski fits on my 200 trailer with out finder issues. It has been tried.
  17. It has been done. It really does not fit well but to go 5 miles as you say it will work. Anything else I would not.
  18. 654 was the prop of choice from the factory. It was on all promotional boats prior to going to the current 5.3 motor.
  19. @H20Skier94 if you ride this ski I really hope you health insurance is paid up. You would be very foolish or drunk IE hold my beer moment to ride this ski.
  20. @H20Skier94 you just purchased 45.00 wall art. Would not be wise to ski on it hence you bought the ski for 45.00. If you ski on it don’t be surprised if the ski breaks.
  21. @Andre @skihacker the web site says 430 pst for final 8.
