  1. Broken Plates from my Crossfit gym.
  2. I will be in Eugene this weekend, would love to get a ski ride while in town. Thanks
  3. Got an early version of the 65 Senate Pro for the GF. she is loving it, she set a new PB in the last tournament.
  4. We just had a similar problem on an 02, in our case the distributor gear had worn out, I have also seen the roll pin that holds the gear in place break. Pull the distributor cap and crank the motor to see if the rotor is spinning.
  5. NRG with a new flex pattern.
  6. Not sure where you are located but you can use the 2018 for sale @ https://www.yvmarine.com in Yakima Washington as a comparison. This boat has been listed on CL for $59,999.
  7. This 2018, I don't need a hard copy. I was Chief Judge at Tournament last week. I had a digital copy downloaded on my tablet as part of my Tournament kit that I carry.
  8. It's a Kidder Trick with Mastercraft graphics.
  9. @sunvalleylaw the EVO is replacing the ARC. The explanation I got, " We took what we learned from the NRG and applied it to the ARC".
  10. It was awful on my android tablet using google chrome and was almost flawless on my laptop using google chrome. The difference was enough that I thought the problem was with my tablet.
  11. I use them without the dowels more of a hand saver than grip. You may also want to change your handle size, I use a 1.0, that seems to work well with the straps.
  12. As of right now I am at level 8. It has been a long time goal to qualify for and ski in the nationals. So here I am just above the current cut off, do I book the trip and make the plans knowing the number could change and I could fall back to level 7.
  13. 0800 start both days, 2 rounds each day. The pro final was head to head on Sunday last year, guessing it will be the same format this year.
  14. So... Rick Stocks invented the novice tournament format in the 80's? Seems to me I skied in what we called novice tournaments in the 70's and I am sure they were around before then!
  15. Thanks @swaterkd Edens looks great.
  16. I will be in the Ft. Myers area on the 18th of May, any ballers at Ultimate Ski Lake? and is it possible to get a couple of sets?
  17. @Ralph Lee all of the D3 skis do have serial numbers.
  18. Should we consider getting rid of the level 8 requirement and allocate nationals attendance based on regional placement? In this case it would not be the top 5, rather an allocation based on the number of skiers in each age division in the nation. if you have 400 M4 skiers and the allocation number is 20% or 80 skiers, the 80 skiers would come proportionally from each region, (200 skiers in the western region equals an allocation of 40 skiers etc...). Doesn't solve the money and travel issue but it would make regional tournaments much more relevant.
  19. @aupatking Looks like you enjoyed skiing there as much as I did. Matt Rini and Whitney were incredibly nice. For a PNW guy skiing in February was a rare treat.
  20. @lpskier it was great I ended up at Matt Rini's. Can't thank Matt enough he has a great site and we met some great people. In terms of sore it wasn't nearly as bad as I thought it would be. I did push it a little on my final set and blew up at 5 ball but nothing damaged so it was a good set. Also a shout out to the people at Performance ski and Surf, great people and they hooked my daughter up with a deal on a new vest.
  21. Hey all, I will be in Orlando tomorrow and looking for a place to take a couple of ski rides. I thought i had a place all set but that seems to have fallen through. I am free all day tomorrow and am I very flexible. There will be two of us. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
  22. @LeonL @thompjs my point in regards to Zero Off is more about the lack of an independent timing system that is not part of the Zero Off computer. In my simple mind there is a difference between calibration and measurement. @horton sorry for the off topic just wanted to clarify my point in the original thread.
  23. So to summarize, whole tournament scores are in jeopardy because a driver may or may not have given a skier an advantageous boat path. Yet we still accept the virtual timing of zero off as accurate?
  24. Best year ever at the age of 52, set two pb's this year and I have more in the tank for next year. Summer can't come soon enough.
  25. Tournaments are a way to validate practice scores and take me out of my comfort zone. As stated previously tournaments are more of a sudden death format, although multi round tournaments lessen the pressure. Personally I am having the best year of my life, because I had been skiing so well (for me) i decided to up the pressure and make the 500 mile drive to the regional tournament, I didn't ski great but it was a satisfying experience to go there and not completely choke. In regards to practice versus tournament scores I have set two PB's in tournaments this year, 3 @ 35 and 4 @ 35 a few weeks later, both of those scores I got in tournaments before I got there in practice.
