  1. I knew it !! My question is,did you fool @AdamCord or was he playing along?
  2. “Did you intentionally order a 63”
  3. I just returned from a six day snowboard trip. My wife decided to skip this one but I met up with several friends that go to the same resort every year. As I was making the 8 hour drive home I was thinking about how much fun we had even though the conditions weren’t that great. We always seem to end up with several funny stories from each trip. Everyone made it there and back safely (no injuries),which is a blessing in itself. So what is the relevance? Well,I wouldn’t know any of these friends if I hadn’t started skiing tournaments 30+ years ago. Some of the people I have met through skiing have become my closest friends and I have so many great memories because of skiing and these friendships(on and off the water). It may sound cheesy but skiing really has shaped my life and I’m sure many of you have experienced the same thing. I’m thankful for it and I’m especially thankful for the connections.
  4. You could wear a small or a med. I’m 5’5” 138 using a small, but it is tight. If I buy another I will probably go with a med.
  5. My favorite clicked immediately. BUT,Dave Miller of Canada was here and set it up for my first ride. For the next 3 years I made very few adjustments to that ski. Others that I skied very well on took some time and adjustments.
  6. @Horton “ unofficially, under the table, sort of”.... Straight from the redundancy department of redundance. I like it!
  7. @NameUnavailable - I skied at that lake. I think it was called “NameUnavailable Lake”. The cleaner we used was Zing. Definitely wear gloves. We didn’t use safety glasses but we should have.
  8. I used spray flex seal on several significant tears on my Camaro. I’ve skied with it 5 times and so far so good.
  9. As @Bruce_Butterfield mentioned ,the team tourneys at Willow bend in Greenville,Tx were my favorites. Tim & Karoline Robinson did a great job. I miss them and think about those tournaments every year.....So Bruce ,do you think we could hang in for one of those weekends now?
  10. If this is the latest orbit ,I’ll take it. Pm me.
  11. @vonman break out the dremel tool. I had to lengthen the slots on my reflex plates to get to 28 3/8. I also notched the round holes so I can adjust in small increments.
  12. The webcast was awesome. I hope we can have it at nationals from now on.
  13. I saw Sasha at Boris Laval’s lake and I didn’t think he was 6 feet tall. However, Manon was also there so I could have been somewhat distracted.
  14. @Zman Thanks for the compliment. So I am maybe 1/2 an inch taller than Regina and watching her makes me feel extremely inadequate.
  15. But I thought you found your summer bod and was selling the large?
  16. Not taking anything away from Caldwell( he’s a beast),but skiing year round at Trophy would surely help.
  17. After 32 years of tourneys I still get some nerves and it’s still fun. A part of a banana is good fuel and seems to calm me before a round. Practice on Friday and then dinner with friends is still one of my favorite things. Have fun and let us know how it goes.
  18. What a bummer. My wife and I love West Palm. Thanks to the ski club at Okeeheelee for hosting so many great events.
  19. @Horton Are you still liking the orbit/hero8 combo? How is the shake during really hard turns?
  20. @mmosley899 That was my next thought. Installing a stopper on the back and adding bolts to the sides of the boot to prevent hyper extension, but that will allow some forward movement.
  21. I’ve had mine bolted for the last two years to help keep me centered and for safety. After 12 sets on a new Denali my ski buddies thought I should try it unbolted. Only three sets so far and the verdict is still out. Thoughts?
