  1. @TrickyTom Just get some G-10 material so you can cut the material so it fits how you want and then drill the holes for the inserts. No rusting and easy to cut. That is what I use for my rear plate.
  2. I'm in the club for 1/2 on opener, it was a few years ago. Scored 99 in first round and 1/2 in second. Was sitting in the water wondering what just happened.
  3. @drago that is true, on a private lake a bare bones tug works great, but the average buyer wants accessories. I know where there is a bare bones M/C for $59k, but they are getting no lookers. With no options it really narrows your selling opportunities. I have been on the promo team since 2012. It was harder to sell my bare bones boats (first few boats) vs the ones with all the options. Most I talked to asked how much to add this or that. I just started ordering them with all the options. Also price out a Porsche sometimes. A bare bones looks pretty good. I looked at a Macan for my wife. Base was like $56k, but once I started putting all the options she wanted it was $90k. She ended up picking an Audi because it had way more options. A per driving vehicle (which I liked, bare bones) vs what she wanted was luxury options.
  4. Looked at their website and they come in 1 foot increments. So could mount them vertical like bumpers, which might be nice.
  5. I’m at Bell Acqua, hit me up and see if the timing works
  6. @eleeski your MC is broken, send it to me and I will make sure it is taken care of properly.
  7. No skiing that I saw when down there last year. I recommend chartering a sail boat for the week and getting a personal trip out on the water to keep cooler. We had a great time touring the country. It is really hot in the jungle part of the country.
  8. The pug looks like he is trying to figure out @Dirt sense of humor.
  9. Checking out some of the websites that have pricing will give you a good indication what the range is for your area (Craigs List, Boat Trader and Ski-it-Again). But it really comes down to what are the options for boats in your area. If not willing to have one shipped (extra cost) or you are looking for a particular color/options are all factors to take into account. I was helping a guy in our area find a 200. There were a few closer and the pricing was a little better, but he really didn't want red. So finally settled on a blue one from Colorado (which is is super happy with). There is always going to be a better price by someone on the internet. It all comes down to if you feel you are paying a fair price for a boat that is going to make you happy in the long run.
  10. Has anyone tried the Orange vs. Red? Looking for which one is better to see. Also will the orange last as long as the red?
  11. @SkiJay This was very helpful. I will make the changes tonight like @jimbrake suggested, one at a time to get the desired set up.
  12. @SkiJay I got to try the Whisper Fin today. Went with set up from the card. Ski felt good at 28 off (34 mph), but at 32 off I was getting too much smear at the end of turn. Tuning card said to move bindings forward if too much smear in the middle, but not at end. Ski is 68 Goode Revolution.
  13. MC is a publicly traded company, so I'm sure the info is there if someone wants to do the research.
  14. @Ed_Johnson here is the link to the camera's https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07D4PVVWT/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_v8hWCbJDXAM3N
  15. @wish we put up fake solar camera's with light on top in our neighborhood and a few neighborhood watch/camera signs. Have had a lot less problems with people stealing mail since they went up. Not expensive at all, I think they were around $50 for two.
  16. So much better un-boxing than Horton. Un-plasticing (I know not a word, but it wasn't an un-boxing) and skiing right away on the ski. We don't like waiting.
  17. @eleeski they are all still Nautiques. Just refer to them by the year for the 200. 2019 200 vs. 2017 200. Keeps it simple as there is not such boat at the Bryant 200.
  18. @Horton you have to be nice to Richelle now that she is my neighbor. @eleeski send the request to @Nason
  19. @horton Richelle is probably already mad at you since @eleeski well be sending this to the rules committee for consideration.
  20. @eleeski must be excited to put all these new tricks in his run.
  21. These threads leave a lot of details out and they seem to me just like political discussions. Most people don't actually look at the actual information and already have a bias either way. All the manufactures make great boats and I like them all for different reasons. There is a lot of difference in cost between the 6.2l and the 6.0l in all manufactures. One is listed by a dealer and another by an individual (any vehicle is going to cost more from a dealer vs private party). Pricing also is determined by other factors, what other boats are available in the area or does the promo person have another boat sitting in the garage and needs to move this one fast. The title says 19 vs 19, the TXI ad says 2019 in the header, but the detailed description says 2018. So as normal we never compare apples to apples. If you are actually in the market for a boat, go test them all and determine what is best for you (performance, options and price). If looking at new or promo, talk to your local Promo person. All the manufactures look for leads and it gives credit to the program whether you buy their promo or new.
  22. Anyone tried the Whisper Fin on a Goode Revolution? This ski already feels faster in the turn than my Rev 6.
