  1. Looks like a nice large house with lots of room for a family with lots of kids.
  2. California ProAm is this weekend at Bell Acqua lake 2. Hope a lot of people can make it out for the weekend. Here is the link to the webcast: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SsxZT3F_qaU Hopefully a great weekend of skiing. For more information you can go to: https://www.caproam.com
  3. I got info from one of the members at Broadside Harbor. The boat is in the shop trying to figure out what happened. No damage to the course other then the guide buoy. Line that was hit is 1/4' poly so that wouldn't stop the boat. There is speculation that the motor may have seized up (or is the issue from taking all that water). But they won't know until the shop gets the diagnosis.
  4. @loopski the back of the boat is very functional. It can be used anyway you imagine. You can use the upper part as a seat while adjusting the ski or putting on your gloves. The middle is a great step over. Getting on the back of the boat from the dock, you step on the very top seadeck then onto the next step then onto the platform. Moving around the boat, you can now step anywhere to make it convenient and not worry about fiberglass. I always really liked the 200 look, but now the 19 has really grown on me and find more little features that I think really work well.
  5. I rode one for the first time last night. Got home late, so just put my bindings on it at the same measurement as my Rev 6. Ski is very stable and finishes the turn and moved in towards the first wake very well. I will get a few more rides this weekend and actually measure the fin. But so far I like it.
  6. @GMC I have one on the way. But I hear fin settings are different then the Rev 6. What size do you have and I will see if I can get a starting point.
  7. DIY projects are the best! Why do I think if we inspected @eleeski boat we would find something similar.
  8. Isn't @horton our on site reporter? I was expecting more pictures uploaded.
  9. We have a liquid ag spreader with a boom that was bought at a garden supply store. https://www.tractorsupply.com/tsc/product/fimco-25-gal-7-nozzle-atv-sprayer?cm_vc=-10005 We built a mount that sits on the swim platform. Then just turn it on and mow the lawn.
  10. I think we should get back to @horton vs. @schroed and let @dirt moderate. It is fun to hear @dirt tell the story with the gleam of pride in his eye. You would think it was the shot heard around the world the way Dirt tells it. :)
  11. @Horton Practice scores don't count! But what I do remember was a few @39 the last couple of times he has skied with us.
  12. @MISkier I ski C2 behind all the boats and it feels fine to me on the 2019 Nautique. I know @dirt uses C2 and he has had 3 rides behind my boat and says C2 feels good to him. So I would just use your normal setting and have a good ride.
  13. From what I understand, the new 100S version doesn't change the normal setting for slalom. It only affects the "+" settings. So it would only affect a few if any individuals. In all the time I have been driving tournaments, I have never had anyone ask for "+".
  14. @Jimbrake and @horton, thanks for the info. Horton, what do you like about the EVO better (besides thinner)?
  15. Does anyone know the difference between the EVO 2 and the Nitro vest? To me style looks close to the same, but outer material may be the only difference. Looking for a new vest and was considering these two as options. @Tbone71857 what vest did you use before? Looking for comparison on fit, I have always used Eagle.
  16. Need option of just put Richelle's number under Rule Book selection on USAWS.
  17. This event is so popular, even @dirt showed up and skied all three rounds. Thanks to everyone for the great day hanging out at the lake.
  18. @skierjp and @eleeski I'm working with Greg to make sure the boat is at the tournaments it needs to be at so everyone can try it out. I have offered some of the skiers that I know are going to Chile some practice time so they can perform their at their best while traveling (to figure out settings). I try to support as many multi event tournaments as I can. I think the trick wake was good. I went 10 on the hydro gate and 25% on the ballast for my hand pass and 0% for toes. I got the best score I have had in a long time first time behind the 2019 in tricks.
  19. I just shipped my 2017 promo boat from CA to RI. Had it wrapped for about $300 and it made the trip just fine. Even had some extra material around the front bow area and it kept a lot of the road grime off the front.
  20. You will all improve your technique if you have a properly fit ski and bindings. Check out Ski-It-Again.com for great deals on very nice used skis.
  21. I think it is funny how we forget the past. I'm sure we could dig up old rants about upgrading PP software each year. ZO lets you do it for free (Ok, you need the com connection, but I'm sure you can find someone with one). I remember upgrading to a 5" display vs. the square mount for PP and don't forget the single line screen vs. multi line screen. Then their was a fee for going to Star Gazer. These business have to advance and develop new systems. The old pucks were failing, you had to buy new ones. Now ZO has a new single puck, if it has more reliability and last longer, isn't that better in the long run? I may be forgetting some upgrades, but ZO has been out for 10 years and this new "S" is the third major revision? We had "Q" and "R".
  22. Selling a boat to a hard core skier and the general public are two different sales. I have sold one of my promo boats to a tournament waterskier (they pre-ordered with minimal options). We don't need all the options skiing buoys early in the morning or on a private lake. But to the general family skier, they want all the options. They are hanging out in the boat all day on the lake and want all the comfort item like back seat, bow filler cushion, storage and a stereo (more speakers are better).
