  1. Feet at full length, not when you get to 39/41....maybe 3-4 inches. Disclaimer- i have not put a gauge on it at 39/41.
  2. @Stevie Boy hit the nail on the head....COMMON SENSE PREVAILED. Boat trader is run about 10 people...with hundreds of thousands of ads....so are the other for sale websites. Just use your common sense. I think my dad said this first ..haha...When it's too good to be true, it is too good to be true.
  3. Nice camera work on the parachute guy...haha...point it up!
  4. Buy the boat you want! It doesn't matter if you pay 2k higher than you want....at the end of 6 or 7 years, who cares? Life's short! so , it may have cost you an extra 300 or 500 per year...who cares? Buy the boat you love and enjoy!
  5. When you get there, you'll know. It didn't used to be suspiciously low....who'd of thunk it? Don't invest in gold people....you should have bought 3 or 4 older tournament ski boats!
  6. About 1 in 10 wears one in a tournament. There are safety personnel on shore, and in boat in case of a problem.
  7. There will always be new ski boats as long as there is demand.
  8. KLP is up to making some great skis! My new one is REALLY fast....back in the game! He also has a wing that is a much thinner profile.
  9. Use a little less wing angle when taking out Lilly pads...1/2 degree.
  10. Just use a strechier line! hahahaha
  11. If you do not have enough FREE PLATE with this stuff in front of and behind your boots, you are in trouble. The binding must stop with several inches left in front of the front foot, and several inches behind the rear boot. 250/250 works just fine. I found that 400/250 was too much and did not release when i thought it should on a 1/4 bouy attempt.
  12. Nobody would believe how much we ski and burn gas, and for sure you'd get audited for it every other year! haha...no thanks!
  13. Boots are different; bindings are different. I've always gone with where the back of your foot (it's approximate) is. Not where the back of the plastic is. Then you have to adjust from there. I just tried a different ski this morning...two sets, and now have to move forward from what I'm feeling. Ski worked better when i got aggressive and forward on it. It helps to have people in the boat giving you feedback on what it's doing from their perspective too...and good driving too.
  14. I'm sure all the makers will have their own stupid charging station adapters like phones! All these idiots can't decide on one universal type right from the get go!
  15. It does have a canal on far side that goes to the big lake....and You'd get my brother as a neighbor. He USED to be able to drive a boat! haha...
  16. https://www.zillow.com/homedetails/1304-Kellogg-Dr-Tavares-FL-32778/82064353_zpid/ Here's a beauty for SALE...great lake, but it needs a new course. It used to have one about 15 years ago.
  17. Hardshells on front and back, and duct tape the bad ankle. Don't try other tapes; they don't work. Shave it, and duckit baby! You can also put the hardshell in the "right position for you", and then fix it in that position with nuts and bolts. Good as new!
  18. anyone who controls a deep water start and butt slide like that...and then sit back down... can do it behind the boat....he's not a beginner.
  19. There will be gas vehicles and boats available until everyone on this forum is dead. Electric ones are coming along, but the infrastructure is minimal. In 20 years or less, it'll be a tossup as to what you choose. And both types will ruin the planet one way or another, until the next big thing! yeah! I tried a denali fin today! haha!
  20. The pure sound of a Chevelle SS drop top with a big ole v8 and headers sure beats the shit out of an electric anything on a Friday Nite Cruise! Right Jody!? I may get an electric something in the next few years...but they may have to add some sound or something other than a golf cart..haha!

  22. I'll tell you what, you can get a good look at a T_Bone by sticking your head up a bull's ass, but i'd rather take the butcher's word for it!
