  1. There will be gas vehicles and boats available until everyone on this forum is dead. Electric ones are coming along, but the infrastructure is minimal. In 20 years or less, it'll be a tossup as to what you choose. And both types will ruin the planet one way or another, until the next big thing! yeah! I tried a denali fin today! haha!
  2. The pure sound of a Chevelle SS drop top with a big ole v8 and headers sure beats the shit out of an electric anything on a Friday Nite Cruise! Right Jody!? I may get an electric something in the next few years...but they may have to add some sound or something other than a golf cart..haha!
  3. https://tenor.com/view/life-of-brian-killer-rabbit-monty-python-gif-17174289
  4. I'll tell you what, you can get a good look at a T_Bone by sticking your head up a bull's ass, but i'd rather take the butcher's word for it!
  5. It boggles my mind that shuffleboard on ice has been on tv for 4 nights in a row!!! HTF did this happen?!
  6. I love to see the idiots riding up front on bowriders, especially with kids....insane! and what a crappy designed inlet....
  7. My current Goode is for righties, and I'm a lefty. If you're looking used and find one...try it, you might like it. Most people will give you a couple weeks to try it if you talk to them about it and are serious buyer.
  8. 1/4 bouy is like porn; I can't tell you what it is, but i know it when i see it!
  9. OK....I'VE SOLVED THE PROBLEM! All the bs with safesport and background checks, and taking the course..... Just video all the judges all the time! It's cheap. Put a little camera in the tower so they don't sexually abuse any minors while counting bouys, and we can watch the whole tournament and make sure they don't put the organization at risk! For Drivers, Put a camera on them for the entire 8 hours....Good drivers are Hams anyway and would LOVE the attentions and cameratime! Put a camera on the dock starters just to make sure there's no shenanigans going on while measuring handles or anything like that! I think i've saved us a TON of money! Please take care of my $395 annual USAwaterski fee. thanks!
  10. Haven't skied in a month trying to rehab body. Took a set of a bunch of 32's this morning and fell in Love all over again!
  11. As an co-owner of a 1997 bubblebutt that Jody Seal put zo in , and I also have a 2015 6L SN 200....i can tell you I'd keep the 197. It's still my favorite boat to ski behind. I do love the 200 as well, but the bubblebutts are special. I'd say you're splitting hairs on money. In 5 years, you won't care about the extra few dollars. If you're doing tourneys, put the zo motor in it. If not, go back to what it was and use that gt40.
  12. The figure you were given is what the book values show...probably from a book not up to date since pandemic issues. Go to boat trader dot com, Ski it again, and get the claim rep some examples of boats close to yours. The rep just needs something to back up numbers. They may not go all the way to 20k, but rest assured, they'll get to the high teens if it wasn't a stated value type policy.
  13. if you look closely, you can see the occupant of the boat fall on the throttle which is why it went out of control, and probably WFO.
  14. Scott is going from the decades of great jumping to join the Senior PGA tour...here's hoping he qualifies this year!
  15. better put some fins on the bottom...
  16. Just for clarification....if I'm judging/hunting, and my duck flies over the ski lake, are we cool to shoot as long as the skier hasn't passed the 55's yet?
  17. ps: they have not changed the wake on the nautique..haha
  18. What you saw was skiers feeling the Miami water. It's so soft, that even when you have a less than ideal turn, it just feels so good that you think you can just bury the ski and make the next bouy. Sometimes that works, sometimes it doesn't. If it's glass calm down there, you get a little bit of roll, and you might not have a perfect turn, but you CAN make it up there....as you can see by the scores. It's very deep and stays warm year round. When you have a little head/tail coming down the lake, it's as good as anywhere on the planet.
  19. She comes off a bit back and rocks forward too...if she hit it perfect, i think she's got 210 in her!
  20. The MOST popular competition ski is the 2021 Goode 9970 67 inch...oooh...that's right , I happen to have one for sale on ski-it-again.com!
  21. 175, and i think i am 10lbs too heavy for it....at 34 mph.
