  1. What @ral said. I just bought the white cuff version, H2O Pro Shop talked me into it. However, I haven't tried the black cuff, so I can't offer a good comparison between the two. Just wasting digital space. I noticed Terry Winter is using the white cuff reflex boot.
  2. @Kelvin Yes. But the furthest back it'll go isn't far enough. I don't believe my plate has the holes in it to move the hardware back.
  3. I recently bought a Reflex front binding system. Unfortunately, the Reflex plate is about 1/2" further forward than I'd like. Has anyone had this issue? And if so, how did you solve the problem?
  4. I think it'd be cool for a replay. Just not during live footage.
  5. @jedgell agreed. Haven't seen it since I sent a message out to Danothemano.
  6. @MrJones‌ I agree. Starting at 6:30 I was refreshing my browser constantly, hoping to see how the MM handled Robin Lake. Bummer.
  7. Robin Lake must be tough. Every year one or two guys go down early. Buoy three when the skiers are heading South(Pavilion on skiers right) is a troublesome spot.
  8. I couldn't see it either...disappointing. Scores?
  9. The prelim score is important as it rewards the skier who skied around more buoys at the Championships.
  10. This sport has been in the decline for years because people don't want to spend their weekends hanging out at a remote lake watching waterskiing.
  11. Or is it? Skiers have always analyzed the top skiers trying figure out how they do it. It's like a dog chasing his tail. What Nate, Will, and CP have figured out, nobody else can do. It was the same way when Andy was king. If you want to be a better skier, check out Terry Winter's you tube videos. And keep watching them over and over. He's the skier everyone should be trying to replicate.
  12. @MS Bummer for @skidawg. I do enjoy being a few miles from the best craft beer store,Four Firkins, in MN. That's all they sell. It's beer paradise.
  13. @teammalibu what about the men who die, and many of the great ones do, on the mountains? Not everyone in that discipline is Reinhold Messner, whom would like to see a white cameo vest. (for those of you unfamiliar with climbing, think Andy)
  14. I'm jealous, Minnesota doesn't get Dogfish Head.
  15. @MS is off the Approach front binder?
  16. I think @Horton posts these photos to stir the pot. They're never taken from the actual judging tower. i.e. at least 3m above the water surface. From the pictures, you can't accurately judge the pass as there is never a shot of where the front foot is when crossing the C-D and X-Y axis. More importantly, @matthewbrown let's hear about your last zoo visit.
  17. I'm jealous of the boys and girls skiers who have the ability to up their tournament pb's at every tournament.
  18. Nate kills it at Little Mountain and there's a tourney there in a couple of weeks. He'll have six shots at standing up three ball or more.
  19. @KcSwerver If you happen to end up in the Orlando area, check out @drew ross. Although I've been injured most of the year, when I started skiing again, his coaching allowed me to get back to form in a couple of weeks. Keep in mind that his daughter broke the girls 1 slalom record that was held by Regina. You can find him at drewrossskiacademy.com
  20. I started water skiing around the age of 14. Being on the water was the coolest thing. It wasn't until I skied in my first tournament some thirteen years later that I realized, or maybe didn't, that it was going to be a life changing experience. I transformed from a person who enjoyed water skiing to someone that would spend endless summers chasing buoys, a water skier. Since then, I've spent countless hours practicing, judging, scoring, announcing, and skiing in tournaments. Along the way I've lost friendships as a result of my passion, yet gained new ones. People just like me...Water Skiers.
  21. I guess were going to need another horse. More importantly, who killed Kenny?
  22. Easy? No way. Come to Minnesota. In the last 12 months, 6 guys have run -38/11.25 violet line in this state at an AWSA sanctioned tournament. Four of them doing it at the Midwest Regional Championships during their only tournament run in MN. So in twelve months here is the list of guys who did it. Darren Janzig (Only Minnesotan on the list) Mark Brandt The following four did it at the Midwest Regional championships. Scott Tynan Bart Rachwal Mark Johnson Nate Smith
