  1. I will have mine to sell in a little, but there are a variety of them on ski it again normally, or earlier in the year I saw a bunch of NOS senates as well. No idea on those bindings, but is there a price limit you have in mind? I would just buy my wife strada bindings if money was not the issue, they are super comfortable and super easy to put on, dont even have to use water! Here is one on SIA and since they are a shop maybe they would cut you a deal with some bindings. I got my bindings cheapest from H20 pro shop http://www.ski-it-again.com/php/skiitagain.php?topic=Search&category=Slalom&postid=14303
  2. there are used senate's on Ski-it-again. I used one to take me from "knows how to get up most of the time" through to 34 mph now so it is a pretty versatile ski and easy to use. Probably not as forgiving as an older used D3 though, I have skiied on my wifes a few times and it's like skiing on melted butter, hook up after the turn is SOO smooth.
  3. I don't know how you are doing them so tight that you won't come out, I have tested mine, doing them up as tight as I can without them hurting, and I am still able to pull the ski off in the water with moderate effort.
  4. So in response to this thread we are going to start skiing @ 22 off and work back through the speeds, I think this will do three things. 1. It brings out errors in form easier and makes me ski better 2. It will make it so I can start 36 at 22 off 3. It will let me use the ski that I have a little longer since it is fine for 30-34 22 off. Question, we just dropped the -15 @ 30 and started at -22, which I can run only half the time, is there any merit in leaving the -15 pass that I never miss? Next Question: What is a good ski to learn -36 on? I might get to use Ward's elite while he is trying out some other skis in the fall, will this work? it is 68" Thanks!
  5. I do weigh alot :( I think I am the heaviest skiier on here at 245
  6. I am starting at 30 mph, most sets go tlike this 30, 32, maybe a 2nd 32, then a bunch of 4@ 34.
  7. Have it at joe's lake in Shreveport and don't tell him till everyone is there.
  8. its gigantic because I am compensating :( its a 69" Senate. Ward says it is good till I can run 22@ 36 consistantly. No I haven't thought about that horton, would you say that is an easier way to go?
  9. That's not good to hear! I am 28, so I have to ski 36 for the next 7 years so I better get good at it i guess.
  10. Interesting thought, does anyone else have an opinion on what I should start trying after I can run -15@34? I definitely like the thought of landing on my inside edge out of the 2nd wake, I have the worst time now keeping my edge on that landing.
  11. So I am pretty close to being able to run 34 mph, I should run it in the next few times that I ski, do I need to approach 36 mph any different then I would 34 mph? How long would you think it would take me to learn 36 one I start taking shots? My wife doesn't think I will be able to run it by the end of the year, that's a little disappointing.
  12. The water bottles are for ballast. http://i.imgur.com/cyK55.jpg http://i.imgur.com/OKiLz.jpg http://i.imgur.com/kv8wn.jpg http://i.imgur.com/B848G.jpg http://i.imgur.com/7q4KQ.jpg http://i.imgur.com/ovnzI.jpg http://i.imgur.com/hNuPV.jpg http://i.imgur.com/XonpZ.jpg
  13. Update with some more pictures, got it a bit cleaner! Also in light of the recent prices we've seen on this board we are looking more in the $28500 range.
  14. Klinger, there is a variety of them listed for that price right now, there is a 11 malibu in dallas and a 11 centurion in Minnesota and MS that are both ~$36k maybe even less.
  15. Is a low hours boat really worth that much more? You're basically paying the same as you would for a 100 hour promo '11 at that price?
  16. You should buy a 2008 Malibu Response with Zero Off, I hear they are just awesome.
  17. well I dont think we were ALL working this weekend, and whats this work you talk of anyways? I get paid... and I have to go somewhere ever day... but I don't do alot!
  18. Probably not many people on here have used either of those bindings, since most people here are in the course. Obrien makes decent products and I like the fact that they have a no questions asked send you a new one policy if your bindings break. No chance that you can spend a few more bucks and get some Radar senate boots? SOOOO comfy.
  19. Boat ski's very well, have seen ward ski 4.99999999999 @ -41 behind this boat.
  20. We are going to try to sell ours to maybe get one of the promo Centurions that will be available soon. 2008 Malibu Reponse LXi Open Bow Promo Package Monsoon 340 Bimini Top 550 Hours (still used every day) Includes Single Axle trailer. Trailer has brakes, folding tongue, and spare tire. Zero Off Includes Jumpseat for 3rd spectator. This boat is stored only on a boat lift and used only on fresh water private lakes in AR and LA since new. Boat is currently being used daily, and is available for inspection in Shreveport, LA. Boat is available for pickup in about 1 week (as soon as we can get a replacement lined up). Boat is in great shape considering the hours, no gouges in hull, no tears in carpet or upholstory. . Looking to get $29,900 I think this is the lowest price for a 2008 with zero off. Contact Kevin by phone or text 903-261-6747 or email kfennell@gmail.com you can also contact me or @skidawg here on the forums. http://i.imgur.com/HY00x.jpg
  21. Any insight into where the schrader valve is? We looked for it last night and couldn't see it. Do i need to take the plastic cover off that says monsoon?
  22. We need to change the fuel filter on our 2008 Malibu Response with the monsoon 340 and I have 2 questions. 1. Where is it? It is supposed to be visible by opening the small hatch that is in the trunk I thought, however we don't see it when you get that open. I also dont see it when you pull up the rear floor section. Will i need to remove the floor of the trunk to see it? 2. What part number do I need, the local malibu dealer is worse then retarded, does anyone know for sure that filter I need for a 2008 Response with the Monsoon 340?
