  1. No here in Southbridge we call it Web-ski lake and not because of all the skiers
  2. @kmenard Is that Webski lake?
  3. @Horton You suck. It's monsooning out here in Mass.
  4. I agree with @h2oski1326. There is a lot of time and money put into that boat. Is it worth it to a skier like us, No, but the amount of money put into makes the price make more sense.
  5. Drove many LXIs (all years mentioned) in tournaments. All drive real nice. Tracks well predictable in take off and shut down. Nimble enough for the size of the boat (the size of all boats now).
  6. @Than_Bogan I'm beginning to think your right. The 35s are not coming like they use to.
  7. @AB That's exactly what I thought and what I have experienced in the past, but sometimes it worked well. So I'm thinking maybe its me. Maybe it is time to move on.
  8. @MattP It is a Nano One 65.25. Stock settings with wing at 10 degrees. Tried with wing at 9 and it did not turn on my onside. At 10 the ski turns well on both sides, but it is a lot of work to get out to the balls. I also find that after my turn on my offside it is hard to keep the ski in the water- riding the tail- I've never had this problem. There are times it works and other times it doesn't feel right. Again I hate to knock the ski because it works well for others. Sorry no video.
  9. Been skiing on a new ski since May 14th. It has been a struggle. Some good sets, some bad. A little tweaking and it just does not feel right yet, getting better, but not right. I'm not going to say what ski it is because some people love it and a ski is a personal feel for the individual. My question is when do you call it a day and move on to another ski? I usually run 35 90% of the time on my old ski(now broken) and I'm down to under 50%. And when I run it its a struggle.
  10. @WylieSkier I had both the 9800 and the 9900. 9900 is the same ski but better graphite. I noticed that Goode has a 9900 65.75 (my recommendation for your size) for sale on the website. If not the 9800 was a great ski (skied on both). But definitely the 65.75".
  11. It may have to do with how deep the skis ride in the water.
  12. @Than_Bogan You are correct sir! Although I figured the settings were universal. If not I need settings for the 'pull like an idiot and hope for the best style'.
  13. @Than_Bogan My Nano One comes today. What are your numbers, boots, fin, etc.
  14. I had a 99 cc. I did and still do with my newer Nautique- loosen the hose clamp on the intake connected to the intake filter and put a hose directly in to the hose.
  15. I'm in the category "Post Medical". Funeral Director and Monument Dealer.
  16. Free skied once. Course not in due to weather (and time with work). Hopefully by next week. Jonesin'
  17. Thanks gentlemen. It sounds simple enough.
  18. Never changed the fluid in the transmission before and my dealer (a marina that I trust) is two hours away. Any tips, advise, know-how? Thanks
  19. Beat me to it. Damn it! Hope to be out there by the weekend, but with a course.
  20. I have a similar lift to OB's. I ratchet strap 8 five gallon jugs to the out riggers and float it out to where I need it, release one of the straps, let the leg settle in and release the next. One person five minutes. Getting it out I ratchet strap the jugs to the bunks and lower it until it is released. I would be interested in the boat lift helper though it would save a lot of setup time. @Fatroll do you know how much they are asking for the lift helper?
  21. John I would be interested, but it is the wrong foot forward. Also I think most people my self included for that much money there should be a return policy/warranty from Goode. I'm sure they will not honor anything like that with it being 2nd hand. Maybe someone will find it worth while if you went into the $1200-1300 range.
