  1. @Than_Bogan I think you are refering to Bruce? If so he did both achilles and was on a old Fogman (I think modified). Or maybe it was a modified Goode setup before he went to a Fogman setup.
  2. I have ear plugs in because of past problems with my eardrums. On occasion a plug falls out or is loose and the noise of the wind drives me crazy. So no I need quiet.
  3. I always wondered about creating a false shore with a small ramp type structure. Float the shore side, sink the lake side. Thoughts?
  4. Left foot forward, left hand for fine motor (writing, hamering, etc), left for racket ball, right for batting, right for throwing
  5. @Horton the Camaro as warm as a drysuit or so flexable and warm enough?
  6. I'm looking to add a Nano 1 to the inside of my 09SN
  7. I have Gmail and I ambush my wife's FB account. I like stuff that she doesn't etc... Horton you may be my wife's newest friend!
  8. Until you get into deep shortline 38 and less the 190 is a great slalom boat. The shorter line leagths wake are unbeatable, but a little wind and its like bullets in your face with the spray. The early 90's 190 is a great option for a club boat.
  9. Clean with two part cleaner as mentioned and leave it natural. Don't want oil on my ski. My boat is very clean and waxed, but the skiing comes first. I haven't oiled my platform in 10 years.
  10. Straight for the bouys at my opening pass for at least a couple of weeks to a month. Then the wheels come off.
  11. Samantha Dumala is the 2013 girls world water ski champion! Awesome skiing. Very happy for the Dumala family! More to come from Sam I'm sure!
  12. @JohnCox Is the Nano left foot forward, right foot forward or neutral?
  13. @jrs I've been getting updates from Sam's dad Mike all week. I am really excited for Sam and all her family. Mike and Denise are great friends and this couldn't happen to better people. Sam's sister Danielle is a great skier also. I am seeing great things for Sam-alot of self motivation there. Pulling for Sam big time.
  14. I had a 1995 Tige Slm2000. Great wake Long line throughout, no spray that I can remember. It burned in a fire. Went on to Nautique after (never looked back). The biggest problem was it was under powered-I think the rpms for 36mph was around 3900-4000. It also tracked on rails.
  15. I'm from the east where the skiing is very different. I think they are geared towards more of the great snow conditions of the west (i.e. Utah). Currious because of being fond of Goode waterskis I asked my snowski dealer in Massachusetts about them. He said they were terrible, but that again is in eastern conditions. I never see anyone out east skiing on them. I assumed they were built for powder.
  16. I had that EP bag. I think I still do somewhere.
  17. @eleeski Cosmetics I don't care about. If the majority thinks that it won't affect the performance than I won't do anything to it. It has had these "scratches" for over a year now and I don't find any difference in the performance. I just felt that maybe I should do something about them.
  18. Tighter gloves and larger handle radius. I have 41tails Medium, I normally wear Large. They are tight but no problems with blisters and I think they don't wear out as quickly.
  19. CDX. It was one of the first ones, the fin stuck up out of the top of the fin box. I had to hacksaw it down flush with the fin box at regionals due to it being a safety issue. Great ski. I know people who still ski well on it today.
  20. @jfw432 I think they are in the who cares category, we're not talking big deal here.
  21. @Stevie Boy and @ToddL You guys are the reason I don't let my wife read this forum. But I like your ideas.
  22. @eleeski Do you paint with the primer after sanding down the Bondo or Paint sand and paint again?
  23. @Horton It is definitely not that deep, but if it means a new stick maybe time for a Nano.
  24. @BraceMaker It is just surface gouges. Definitely not structual.
