  1. @MattP They are at most 1/8 of an inch deep and at most 1/2 an inch long.
  2. Looking to do a little off season maintenance on my 9900. I want to fill in some of the minor gouges from docks or coming down on the occasional rock under the surface at tournaments. I'm thinking JB Weld, but looking for ideas from anyone who is more experienced at this. Thanks
  3. Slalom Skiing Plain and Simple?
  4. @Stoner If I can get a ride on one of those jets you guys fly around in I'm all in for Michigan
  5. Skied on this past St. Patrick's Day (of course). It wasn't too bad in a drysuit, but I don't think I will repeat it again. Winter skiing is snow skiing, not water.
  6. No, na ah, nope, not ever going to happen
  7. I would be interested as to when these photos were taken. In August I was in the boat when Chris was skiing at a tournament and he was using a two handed gate start. That may change the approach timing also
  8. My trainer started me on TRX a couple weeks ago. I think it will translate very well to skiing.
  9. I enjoy snow skiing, but don't get out enough. I don't take it as serious as water skiing and when I am snow skiing I try to make as many turns as possible to emulate water skiing. As mentioned it makes the winter shorter and it is a great activity to do with my daughter.
  10. @Wish is your elf a friend of Mr. Hankey the Christmass Poo?
  11. @04196 as I mentioned a couple months back on another post I had a 99 SN and the wake was awesome. Low soft at all line lengths. My buddy had a 93 SN and had nice wakes, but much harder than the 97-01 SN. If you get the 98 your ski buds will love you for it. I would have owned the boat longer if it wasn't for Zero Off.
  12. I'm not sure and someone with better knowledge here can correct me, but I think you need days of freezing not just a freeze over night to cause damage.
  13. Trying to get back to my core routine. 3 days a week not much weight lifting involved in my routine. Going to see my trainer next week to hopefully change things up. I just want to maintain at this stage of the game. But good beer keeps calling my name.
  14. I stopped reading when @Than_Bogan started with that math stuff. Let me know when you come up with a final figure.
  15. I agree with @Laz and @Than_Bogan that blond chick needs a sandwich. Or to reach the age of 13.

    It's Back!!!!

I just wonder how many clowns fits in it?
  17. Patrick Morrill, Brimfield, MA. I am a Funeral Director- own and operate my family business D.T. Morrill Funeral Home, Southbridge, MA- 100 years in business this year! Ski behind a 2009 SN196 (love my boat). Live on a public lake about 75 acres in size. I have my problems with the other "users" of the lake and sometimes rollery conditions, but in general it is great. Skiing is a great escape-when work is busy or slow it takes my mind off it. Ski on a Goode 9900 65.75". Been on Goodes for a number of years, broke a few, but keep coming back to it (Dave Goode is my crack dealer). When I get the chance I go down to see my buddy and former ski partner (from way back) Mike Dumala at Okeeheelee- always a good time. Go to see a coach about once every other year. PB is 3 at 39off (couple years back now). Have run 38 nearly 10 times in my life. PB in a tournament is 4 @38 (3 times). Love going to tournaments, love the people there, just don't do it enough. Married with a daughter and when I'm not skiing with my ski partner and best friend Kevin, my wife drives and my daughter is watching- Life is good.
  18. To me pushing the season that close to the time of icing on the lake is not worth it. Mid October and I am done. First off the water on my lake drops 3 feet making the course loose. Second you ski worse and possible muscle injury in the cold. I don't think you gain anything by going that deep in to the cold season. Then again I'm a wimp.
  19. I will use the offseason to do some rehab on my 9900. I wouldn't dare change anything until I'm back skiing again.
  20. This is something that I've noticed also with him. Hoping to try to incorporate in to my skiing next year. There's got to be a distinct reason he does it
  21. The Fusion is the big D3 ski. And in Nate Smith's case it is the Indian. Look at Andy Mapple he skied on an O'Brien that was not as well regarded as other skis of its era. And I guess you would have to call Andy's ski an "O'Brien" in name only . As far as the X7 I haven't heard and anything bad about it.
  22. Than, that baby is not you? It looks just like you staring down the 2-4-6 line on your setup for the gates. Congrats you are now a cyber famous slalom skier.
