  1. I bought the Bullseye and it is great! I only use one and line it up with the ball just outside the little marker. Straight down the middle every time!
  2. What is the big benefit over Perfect Pass that would warrant spending many thousands to add it? I drive a GT 40 EFI 98 SN daily with PP set for slalom and when done, push the button for tricks, or wakeboard depending on who is next on the dock and never have an issue. All for less than $1,000 installed!
  3. Update. We found a 2014 Senate 65. (not a C) So it is orange instead of green, Double boot and with about a week and 1/2 of free skiing and two days in rough water on a public lake course of which only 4 buoys are skiable we head out for an INT 2 round slalom almost in our back yard. Starting out @ 21 15 off (should be an easy pass) 6, back @ 23, 6 again. third pass 25 6 again ( personal best #1) 1 @ 26.8 (PB#2). By INT rules he is eligible for his mulligan and now he runs 2@ 26.8. (PB#3) Lunch and in the afternoon he skis round 2 this time starts at 23. makes 6, runs 25, and finishes with 4@ 26.8 (PB#4) proving it wasn't just a fluke or lucky run. Not a bad day on a new ski, double boot (he really likes), and nearly no practice. He (and I)happy!
  4. I have a Nautique filler seat from a 206 and we stick it behid the driver seat when family is visiting, limited surfing and teaching from the boom. Otherwise it rests in the garage and iuf necessary someone stays behind. My bumpers (fenders) are the low profile with 90' tops which fit under my rear seat on my 98.
  5. I have had 2 TKA's one included a new knee cap the other did not. I had not skied in maybe 20 years because of the pain, I did however try wakeboarding prior to #1 and while not pretty I did get up. Because of my chronic knee problems I did nothing but gain height over that period, Now since #2 Dec 2014 I am on a program and have dropped 25 and my hope is to ski before summer ends at least once. ( first number on scale is now a 2 instead of a 3) My lest leg not only was bone one bone but misaligned. Right was bone on bone. Pain was chronic, loaded with arthritis and difficult to bend. Actually would go to sleep right after supper some nights just to alleviate the pain, One of my issues since the 2 TKA is my sea legs have gone. Walking on a floating dock or stepping down into a boat or off a dock is tricky, scary and sometimes embarrassing. Pain level is 90% gone. (there are still some moments) Stiffness especially after sitting and kneeling is almost impossible especially on the one with a knee cap replacement. My surgeon has allowed bike riding, snow skiing (no moguls) suggests I get back on the water skis. No Jumping or any sport that may cause easily twisting. My Doctor also advises against partial replacements unless the remaining surface is perfect. When in doubt ask questions if your not comfortable seek a second opinion. I was fortunate to have a two doctor team that did mine and I met with both who agreed on the diagnosis.
  6. It is the priced you pay for a better ride!
  7. That way works but the mini's between the red's and the boat gates allows one to utilize going through the ent/exit just like a real course. INT's mix works well to get the scores up allowing real course good side mini off side, My kids started this way and progress to full course in no time!
  8. I found an NOS 2014 same as 2015 except for color and a ok I'll take it price. The way we seem to outgrow stuff with him I didn't want to spend a lot and a Senate used is hard to find. By the time he out grows this he should be well past 34 mph and close to the end of growing!
  9. My boy 14, 5'8 130 has out grown his Goode 64.25 105 9900 SL. He is a novice course skier 15' off 23- 25 mph range. We are thinking a Alloy 65' Senate might be a good replacement for his ability and size. He is thinking of going from a RTP to a double boot. Is there a difference between a 2014 and 2015 Senate other than color? Am I correct in thinking he doesn't need graphite especially since in a season or two his size and ability will warrant a new ski. Any helpful thoughts on this?
  10. I zip tied a handle to the boom ( right at the ends of the end cap plastic ) leaving just enough slack for hands to get through. The handle had a smaller diameter than the boom and little hands found it easier to grip.
  11. Lkhopski Where are you located?
  12. If the nationals become too easy everyone gets a medal. Ok, but if the nationals become too unattainable, the sport will suffer with more kids getting discouraged and dropping out. Maybe splitting up and adding a division should be studied and a middle ground be found. If the consesus was things are fine we wouldn't have this discussion. We changed stuff for older folks we can do it for the kids too.
  13. Insure it and report it stolen. Collect the Insurance and have paper work from Police and Insurance to present to DMV
  14. I need one too for a 98 Nautique. Prefer GPS type that does not depend on magnets yet is still a 3 event model.
  15. For those beginning and thinking a AWSA tournament is intimidating there are INT tournaments which is more suited for novice skiers. My son is doing both and will be concentrating on AWSA and may work jumping into his routine. Two years ago he only wanted to wakeboard. Once he discovered slalom and the sense of accomplishment just beating his own best he was hooked!
  16. If you free ski @ 22,28,or 32 off you are just skiing with a shorter rope. Your form may be great and you can have a fun day of doing it, No argument. If you ski through a course and make a complete pass you know you've earned the shorter line. It is just a more accurate way of measuring your ability.
  17. A slalom course and a boat that can hold direction and speed will humble many great skiers.
  18. How does the A1 compare with the S1 for a kid. My son will be out growing his 62' and lookming for a 64-65 for next season
  19. I am in New England and it may be high but I have to start somewhere. Mid 90's boats around here are bringing mid teens, late 80's still command 10K so for my market I may not be that far off. I am not even sure I want to sell it. I just hate to miss the 08
  20. I have a 98 GT40 EFI with 940 hrs, lift stored, bottom skins in box ready to install, bimini, stereo, trailer cover. GPS speedo. Asking $17,900 but would consider legitiment offers. I have a chance at at @2008 206. otherwise I wouldn't sell. Black& Grey.
  21. If I go any faster, they'll need a Nautique!
  22. Ski It Again had an Goode 9500 (62) and a KD7000 (59) if those are anything you would consider.
  23. Yes, I agree. Now that he is there he is looking foward to 23, and 25 for a season goal. He wants to go to a Nationals event. Maybe next year will be his. I'm not pushing, this is all him. Being able to come hear for advise does help.
  24. Well agiainst advise and reason my boy decsided this week he was going to go 15 off. He ran it pretty consistantly making it 3 times 21mph @ Webster, and his Wed night practice in Charlton. His is getting 3-4 @ 23 mph. He skied INT Plymouth and ran the 15 off 21 and 3 @ 23mph. So there is problably no looking back.
