@ALPJr, I picked up a Core at @perfski It is a super nice vest. Stokes is also a great option if your size is available.

I have one for my 200. It works. It’s not necessary but if you have different sized skiers and don’t want to move the clamp from a certain sweet spot it saves the hassle of wrenching. I never left the mount in place, so I already had the wrench out and think I have only used the height adjuster once or twice. I have not used my boom in years, so if you want one, I’m happy to sell you my height adjuster. Let me know if you plan to go to any of the Ohio tournaments or the collegiate home tournament.

Phoenix, solid trailer and awesome service after the sale. We used to ski a site with a very steep ramp. Phoenix made me a set of extra high boat guides. The guy working on the shop floor called me to get a measurement on my trailer to make sure he got them right.

I was too young with Howard, I just remember the voice.

@horton, he’s working hard and brings a strong energy. The job needs that. He has character, like Howard Cosell. Many loved Howard and many didn’t because he brought character to the job. He may be more of a boarder than a skier, but Dano does fine by me and I bet I’m not alone in that sentiment.

@vonman, email the Adam’s (edit: or Meg). My height came into play with how Caldwell sized my ski. Best to just talk to the experts. (Meg was clearly faster with the post comment than I was, and she is one of the experts)

We did, it helped, good recommendation.

After replacing the cable on my 200, I recommend removing the driver’s seat to avoid ending up in traction (glad I did that), hoping that you don’t have heater hoses adding to the congested path for the cable, and getting a teenager with good flexibility and reach to help. This was a tight fit.

Concur with @Dirt, I learned a ton from the Adam’s with the C75 and still learning as much with the C85. The support is huge and was why I was willing to buy a cutting edge ski.

Is there anything special about changing the steering cable on a SN 200, even if just some tips and tricks? The only time I changed a cable was on a ‘95, so fewer wires in the way, and that was 15 years ago. I do know how to completely remove the floor and back pad and saw thager’s post about cable pulling fluid. Thanks in advance.

Done. Once again, the media proves that they always get something wrong.

Don’t tighten the strap so much and leave the bow a couple of feet away from the crash pads. Slowly pull the truck and trailer up to the point where the bow has risen and the chines are above the bunks. Now crank the bow to the crash pads and the chines will have nothing to touch because the boat and trailer will be parallel.

@dan1166 just get the boat deep enough in the water that you can start the boat. Unhook it and gently back in deeper. For pulling out, start with the trailer deep, you probably don’t need your truck tires in the lake, that can end badly. Bring the boat into to the trailer but not all the way in, just enough to hook up and have a few feet of strap with the boat making slight contact with the bunks. Make sure the strap is secure, now pull the trailer out to a more standard loading depth. The boat nose will rise and should be high enough that the chines are off the bunks. Now you can crank the boat to the crash pads and get some help from the boat without pressuring the chines.

I have a Phoenix trailer that replaced the Boatmate that hauled my boat as a promo. The Phoenix has been great. The original Boatmate, not so much. If you want a different trailer, it is worth researching Phoenix. DM me if you need more details.

@LeonL I saw it too, it was terrifying. If I recall correctly, she was holding the handle in one hand and swung her arm backwards when there was a ton of slack and the rope went behind her. I showed my kids as a reminder to be a cautious as possible with slack.

Babes Spot Solver will bleed out stains as well. Looks like a pretty good list of options has formed.

I have a 200 closed bow with the side saddles. Tons of storage if I needed it. Two adults could camp under the bow and we can fit four slalom skis plus gear in the side saddles. A cooler can sit behind the driver. If you plan on putting wet gear in the side saddles (we don’t), buy Lysol. The observers seat is huge, plenty of space.

Did you see the Miami University kid jump 80 feet on a finless wakeboard? Tony Lightfoot was blown away by the 3/4 cut.
