  1. This might be the stuff that reflex uses. It popped up at the bottom of the Home Depot link from @Gloersen 1/16 in rubber foam at HD
  2. Excited to see the next generation. The C85 set a very high bar for the Denali c-buoyslayer9000^2
  3. Does anyone know if the 6.0 will fit under the engine box of a 5.7 SN200 from this era (2012)?
  4. I did a DB ski as an anniversary gift. She was excited about it.
  5. @Than_Bogan I have found that many observers are better at shapes and colors than numbers, but when I forget that and use the number when I ask for the rope to be shortened, the sleeve can help avoid confusion.
  6. I got talked in to the Camaro, glad I bought it, it is very warm. Just use your whole hand to adjust it vs fingertips as they indicate on their website. Perfski has them and got it to me quickly.
  7. @ScarletArrow i have a 2012 200 CB. I have a 50 pound lead wake bag near the bow and use two 50s under the observer seat and a 35lb that we move near our feet depending on who is in the boat. The only time 150 total would really help is when I have no observer and my ski partner who is near 250 is driving solo, but the 135 seems to be enough. All are lead wake.

  9. She spoke about her summer in an interview with Tony Lightfoot. https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/the-twbc-podcast/id1540900501?i=1000578932939
  10. @mbabiash don’t most of the camera mounts go on like a trick release? Which one are you using?
  11. That pylon design is a a less than ideal way to save on rope wear.
  12. @scuppers /forum#/discussion/27425/spraymakers-listener-appreciation-episodes
  13. @jpwhit thanks again. I let the team president know. He had to take the boat in for a starter issue so he is having them check into this as well.
  14. @Mastercrafter, I was thinking the same thing about software. The boat has a bimini top, so the screen avoids direct sunlight. The boat is a collegiate team’s boat, so hopefully the fix is as simple as a software update.
  15. Has anyone had issues with Zero Off changing to speeds that are outside of normal, specifically 70 mph and 50 mph? This happens when sitting idle and fortunately not to this degree when under power, otherwise we would have some entertaining video. We have had it change to 36 as we enter the course when someone is expecting something slower like 26 or 28 and the driver has to quickly change it back. Also fortunately, this does not happen once the boat is up to speed and ZO takes over. When the speed changes to 70 or 50, the speed setting may quickly flash back and forth from a normal speed setting to these or it may simply lock and ZO will not respond to attempts to change the speed setting. We cannot select these high speeds, ZO makes the change on its own. Doing a full shutdown of the boat and killing the main power switch helps, but does not always work. This is on a 2017 ProStar running Rev R on a single puck. Yes, we contacted ZO and they said it was the display or display software.
  16. @ScarletArrow, what do you like about the 654 over the 422? I have thought about trying that one.
  17. I also run a 422. The wake is soft, people compliment the pull, and I fill the gas tank. When Nautique released the 200, they said the open bow and closed bow had the same weight. I do have a 50 lb weight from Lead Wake in the nose.
  18. If you are back at work and reading BoS over lunch because you wish you were on the water, you’re just like these kids. Please sign their petition if you haven’t already. Hopefully it helps. https://www.change.org/p/save-iowa-state-water-ski?signed=true
  19. I see a ton of M1 skiers cutting rope before hitting max speed or starting shorter at a slower speed, follow the path of @ScarletArrow’s son.
  20. Step one, stop skiing 36/15. Cut the rope 22 off at 34 and master that pass, then work up to 36. You have a decent foundation. Listen to the Spraymakers podcast, you’ll learn a ton.
  21. Awesome podcast, thanks for the work. My question is this: For the gates, if you over-pull/mis-judge tailwind/etc. and find yourself going too far down course for the gate turn in, what is your go to move to quickly bleed speed and not destroy your relationship with the boat to hit the gates in a tournament?
