  1. I've been compiling a list of 2012 200 and TXi promos. There seems to be absolutely no price difference. If anything, the TXi's asking prices are higher than all the 200's. Possibly because there's more of an abundance of 200's out there right now. There may be a difference in price of brand spanking new Txi's and 200's, but it's not reflected in the used boat market right now.
  2. @SkiMadDad , it seems like we've got the same problem... Until I read this thread, I was only looking for a 200. Now I don't know what to do. I think I've read all the posts on this thread twice and have been unable to determine which boat is more suitable for me. I'm just looking for the best boat on an 1800 ft lake with a slalom course. Would everyone agree on the 200 hands down in this situation? I think I need a pull behind both boats in the same day. Does anyone have a TXi and a 200 on the same lake? :)
  3. Another recommendation for StarBrite. Buy the package and everything you need to know is on the instructions
  4. low hours on this one. It's located in Florida even though it's advertised on Brandon's website. Pretty low hours for a 1998 and looks to be in decent shape. Trailer looks a little... eh. I've got up close pictures of this boat in my email inbox. The guy sent them to me a while back when I was considering a 1997-1999 centralkyinboards.com/detail.asp?Type=Ski&ID=1112
  5. Appreciate the input. I can PROMISE all of you that if i switch up my front foot for experimental purposes, video will be captured (since I film every set). Maybe I should just never look back and stick with what I've learned on my left foot.
  6. I always wonder if I started with the correct foot forward. How do I know if my left foot forward was the right choice? Should I ever try a set on the opposite foot? Just wondering if any of you guys first learned with a particular foot forward, then changed it up later on.
  7. Every single set. Several Gigabytes of ski video on my hard drive :) I always reduce speed of the video playback via Windows Media player. I do this on the videos that I either did things right or on the videos I did horrible.
  8. I tried to revive a post yesterday without success. Figured I would try starting a new thread on the topic. I'm in the market for a different ski and I'm open to all possibilities. I paid about $240 for my HO Basis bindings right out of the box. I love the boots and would like to use them on my next ski. Do you think the other ski manufacturer would know if HO boots are compatible with their ski? I somehow doubt that HO would let me know all the different skis their boots are compatible with. Appreciate the help.
  9. @addkerr , what OB said! I'm dying to take some footage with our E-Z Cam. If it wasn't for snow on the ground and ice on the lakes.....................
  10. ski-it-again.com/php/skiitagain.php?topic=Search&category=Slalom&postid=22350 $250 OBO
  11. @crashman Zach at N3 emailed me about the skis. Great price but unfortunately they only have the 64.5's and 65.5's. He said they were all out of the 66.5's
  12. Was hoping to get this thread revived for a quick question. Does anyone know what other skis my HO Basis bindings will fit? I had planned on purchasing another HO ski one day, but if my expensive boots (which I love) will fit another ski, it would allow me to look at more options. Thanks
  13. My wife and I have been doing some HIIT workouts. This guy just destroyed my legs. A challenge for some of you ballers trying to stay in shape during the off-season like us. How's this for accountability?
  14. Just subscribed to 3 years (18 issues) of the "paper" magazine. $23.97 for 3 years. Figured I would support the industry and hopefully get some good reading in.
  15. @BraceMaker anyway you could post a picture of that? I figured you would have to remove the entire section of the line you were shortening. I guess I didn't see a way of shortening the line and keeping the rope all in one piece.
  16. My E-Z Cam was delivered last week from the UK (thanks @darren). I plan on trying 3 different devices with the mount. 1. Kodak Playsport Z5 2. Droid Razr Cell Phone 3. CASIO 9.1 MP Digital Camera Once weather permits and the new boat is purchased, I'll be posting footage on the course. Device is very portable and lightweight. I can already tell the lower mount is going to come in handy because it will be compatible with just about any hand-held digital device. Plus it rotates and swivels any-which-way you desire.
  17. @h2odawg79 I already have an HO Triumph (67"). I've just heard several people say that it won't take me long to grow out of that ski. I like the Triumph but sometimes I feel it's a bit more difficult (slower) through the turns.
  18. Thanks fellas. That's kinda what I was thinking. I have a chance to purchase an A2 still in the box from a local dealer. Excellent price, however it's a 65.5. I was thinking it might be a little too short. Anyone have an A2 or S2 they'd like to sell to a baller? :)
  19. Thinking of getting an HO S2 or A2. This would be a ski I would probably keep for a few years. Per the gym scales the other day, I weigh 149 lbs. I'm 5' 8.5" Currently I ski at 30 mph, however, I would like to increase that as soon as I'm good enough. Which length should I get? 65.5 - 66.5 - 67.5 ? Thanks for the input
  20. Kickboxing class last night. EVERYONE should do a kickboxing class at some point. Kicked our butt! Great training for the upcoming season.
