  1. The mirror that came with our 200 stinks. The only time I can honestly see the skier is when they are directly behind the boat/wake. Everyone at the club said I'll need a wider mirror for when there's only a skier and a driver (mainly for safety). PTM Edge seems to be the brand to go with? Which one? Any ballers have a spare sitting around they'd like to sell? :)
  2. Yup, definitely a stiff front leg. Had a lot of trouble with this last year. I will post more video very soon. Hopefully from McCormicks
  3. Got it. I wasn't even thinking about flexing the front ankle yesterday. Sooo many things to think about when your a rookie
  4. Most of you are aware this is my 2nd full season skiing. Sorry it's a terrible video. This is honestly my very first pass of the season. Video was taken yesterday on my Droid RAZR smartphone. It ran low on battery, thus I wasn't able to post the consecutive passes (they were better I promise!) EZ Cam mount was used in this video. It worked pretty well. I guess I'm just looking for some early season pointers. I know a lot of stuff I'm doing wrong but sometimes when you hear it explained a different way, it becomes easier to put into practice. Lots of thanks in advance. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6BfPLhn0OkI
  5. Looks like the same one on RadarSkis.com website. I bummed these from there. Enjoy
  6. Do it. Drink em all.
  7. High 60's today. Water temps in the upper 40's. First ski of the season. Special thanks to a buddy for lending me the drysuit. Wow do I have some work to do this season.....
  8. @JTDixon , I've heard several people say you can take the Triumph pretty far as you progress into the course. It is recommended at a max speed of 32 but that doesn't mean you can run shorter lines with it if you are at that point. It would be better to ask the more experienced skiers on the site if the triumph is a good starter ski for you. I believe it is.
  9. @jimbrake , what would be a better way of expressing that phrase? (so i can better understand) When I look at the Atlanta Pro AM advertisement on the left side of the website right now.... I'm looking at T-Gas wake crossing (or so it appears). It sure looks to me as if he's in a "falling back position." He's definitely not falling forward.
  10. @JackSunsetLakes We do plan on visiting you guys sometime! It's just a little too far from where we will be staying. @liquid d , Too far away as well. I'm a pretty big golfer but I don't think it's going to fit into our vacation. Sorry but thanks for the invite! McCormicks it is! Planning on getting some lessons. This will be our FIRST ski of the season. Oh well, it will still be fun!
  11. Lots of rain and snow run-off here in Indiana. The overflow pipe at our pond as been working overtime all winter long. Most/all lakes in the area should be full.

  13. Definitely hard to beat the special edition lime-green A3
  14. C'mon people. Lets SEE those vanity purchases instead of talking about them. Thanks @Crashman and @kmenard for the visuals!
  15. Taking a big family vacation to Tampa from April 13th to April 20th. The wife and I want to ski for a day (maybe 2). Should we hit up McCormicks? We won't be taking our own skis because we're flying and I'd rather not hassle with it all. I'm pretty sure McCormicks has gear to use according to the website. Anyone have other suggestions for places to ski nearby?
  16. @yardsale , try this link. I filled out the information and they responded to me within a couple days. http://www.goode.com/wsSELECTOR.html
  17. I was referring to some of the brackish waters in FL.
  18. West Palm, FL. Sounds a bit salty to me.
  19. Hahaha, no way! According to GizMag.com, a new one costs around $7,500 If you can stand watching it long enough... it's worth it to see the ending
  20. Uncle just purchased a house in Ft. Myers. Anyone know of places to ski in this area? Thanks in advance
  21. @Jody_Seal , NO WAY! A Lightning????? I haven't seen one of those beasts on a while! Sick truck brother. And yeah, my 200 definitely didn't come with the factory cover. That looks exactly like the ones Mastercraft produces from the factory.
  22. hmmm. I'm thinking my used 200 didn't come with the factory cover unfortunately. The cover that came with ours is gray and it doesn't look like a "trailerable" cover. It's fairly thick (that's what she said) and just doesn't strike me as factory made. I definitely want one that covers the sides and chines, etc. The boat will primarily be stored outdoors on the trailer next to our club lake.
  23. Sounds like I'm going to go with skiboatcovers again. Last cover I ordered he had made (with custom pin stripe) and shipped to my door in less than 2 weeks.
