  1. @Than_Bogan This should be fixed in the next release, thanks for the feedback!
  2. Team rosters will be made up of: MS-3 WS-2 MJ-2 (includes night jump) WJ-2 4 rounds of skiing Total salary cap -$1,150,000 Draft deadline Friday 9/29 @ 8am. We are keeping a close eye on which skiers are going and we'll keep you updated. For those of you that drafted already there has been a lot of entry changes so you may need to adjust your rosters. http://www.fantasy.ski
  3. There has been talk about moving junior age divisions to 2 year increments like most sports, I found this on the European Rankings site and thought it was interesting to see they are doing this. Makes me wonder why we don't do the same. 11 age groups, 22 divisions, right now we have 32. The way they do it actually adds a group from 18-21 and then the first adult group is 22-34 which would be like us combining Mens 1 and 2. We could even add a 75 plus since I know M7.M8.M9 would not want to compete against 65 year olds. Just food for thought. I also like the nomenclature of under 12 and mens 45+, it is hard to explain to an outside what B2 or M4 even means. Plus less divisions equals more competition and more budget room to make bigger and better trophies. This would be a 35% reduction in the amount of trophies needed to buy at big events like state, reg, nationals. https://www.iwwfed-ea.org/classic/rl2017/eame/index.php?page=news.html
  4. Just got word Martin Kolman is not skiing, if you drafted him already you will need to adjust your roster
  5. Ballers, if you missed your shot at the beta test during Open Worlds, fine tune your waterski draft skills at the European Championships this week. We also have the Malibu Open, College Nationals, King of Darkness and Chile Night jump left this season. Practice makes perfect as , so test your skills this week. The 2017 European Fantasy Water Ski Championships starts Wednesday Sept 20. Enter now and draft your team. Winner gets $100. Salary Cap=$1,350,000 Draft: 2 MS, 2 WS, 2 MT, 2 WT, 2 MJ, 2 WJ. www.fantasy.ski http://www.fantasy.ski
  6. Fantasy Water Skiing is back this weekend. There will be 3 events available to play this weekend but hurry b/c draft rosters must be in 8am tmrw Saturday September 16th, 2017. You will not be able to draft once the event starts like you were able to for the Open Worlds. We can only do that when scoring will be instant and we are not sure if that will be the case this weekend! Event #1-The Queens Cup in NC: draft 2 womens slalom skiers, salary cap is $200,000. All scores will count, there is a 2 round prelim and then a head to head and handicap finals. Scores for FWS will not be handicapped, they will be scored with regular buoy counts. So the better the skier the more points but if you select a handicap skier that advances far they can be valuable as well. Event #2 and #3-The Ball of Spray Cash Prize event in CA. Here we have 2 separate drafts and events available to play in. You can enter the head to head event, here skiers get 2 rounds of prelims and then a head to head finals. In this event skiers are valued according to buoy counts and scored that way as well. You can also enter the BOS handicap event. Everything is the same here as far as scoring and prelims but here each skier available to draft has the same draft value since each as an equal chance to advance, however FWS points will still be awarded by total buoy counts so better skiers will score more but once again skier who advance can bring valuable points if they ski more rounds. Have fun and keep the feedback coming...next weekend is the Europeons Championships followed by Malibu Open. FWS
  7. Fantasy is open for queens cup, draft 2 womens slalom skiers, $200,000 salary cap.
  8. Start drafting. There are 2 separate fantasy events for this event. 1 for the handicap and 1 for the head to head. You pick 3 male slalom skiers for each one. $300,000 salary cap. In the handicap everyone has the same value. We are not set to do a combined gender event and since there were only 5 females to even pick from we just went with men's slalom. www.fantasy.ski. Drafts must be in by start of tournament
  9. What's the format. ? And @klindy do you have averages for everyone by chance ?
  10. @Horton NO promises but I am trying to get a fantasy event going for BOS cash prize this weekend. We are still in beta test so I do not have the quick ability to just add an event and have it run on its own and if I can not launch it by end of day or early Friday it will not give users time to draft so a few questions. 1) Can you send me what you are using for everyones handicap averages, I need this to set a draft price on each skier, 2) Will you be running live scoring? 3) As far as the handicap part this sounds like 2 separate scoring events and thus I may need 2 separate drafts? i.e if someone drafts terry winter, his value varies based on H2H vs handicap no? 4) Will you be using the line length buoy count for handicap, i.e hardeman running 2 @ 39 is equal to badal running 2 @ 39 for H2H, is same true for the handicap part or is that going by buoy count? Any insight on the scoring method to aide in making it a good FWS event let me know. Like I said no promises b/c we did a lot of hard coding to make open worlds work for a beta test but I'd like to do a BOS FWS event this weekend.
  11. @Zman Ill get this over to tech and see if it needs an update or an elimination.
  12. yes we had the 8 teams get a draft during a time when salary cap was off and those team totals are being adjusted, we are adjusted team totals to reflect the different. $600 in cap equals 1 FWs point, adjust leaderboard coming
