Here’s a few. I picked it up Friday.

We are having a Swervin’ weekend in GA this year. It’s in extreme NE part of the state; near NC & SC. I just picked up my ‘19 Ski Nautique so we’ll be ready to go. This lake is near Clarkesville, Tallulah Falls, Clayton, & Toccoa, GA.

To change gears within this thread, this discussion Post started at the Atlanta Boat Show. Guess what is next door to the location of that show? That would be Mercedes Benz Stadium and the Super Bowl. Should we start a New Post as to predictions of tonight’s game?

@mbabiash, I’m sure you’ll love it. Just sit in it and pretend like a kid would do. If you’re like me, you still have some “kid” in you. Hey, I noticed you’re from KS. I just left Wichita yesterday. I was there for our Nat’l Sales Meeting with Lubrication Engineers Inc., the Co that I rep. Before leaving the Hyatt yesterday, I went to a cool car show there with hundreds of cars. If/when I’m back out there, maybe I could ski a set with you if you’re anywhere near Wichita.

@skimtb, I don’t have any pics of the new 200. I think it is called just “Nautique” on the side of the boat but it’s model description is Nautique 200. The newly designed 3EV boat is the Ski Nautique with no numeric designation.

@skimtb; No, the Nautique 200 was not at the boat show but you can get it at Nautique.com

When you come down the escalator in the Atlanta show, the ‘19 Ski Nautique is the 1st boat that you see. We have the best location in the entire show. I’ll be there again this morning around mid-am or so.

@WaterSkier12 , I’m going Friday and Saturday afternoon. WaterSports Central is now the Nautique Dealer and I’m told we’ll have a ‘19 Ski Nautique there. They want me to “man” that boat. I’m ALL in. Drop by and we’ll sit in it and “Ooooh & Aaaaah.”. Bring Cheryl’s pocketbook. LOL

It’s Boat Show Season............Are you going to a Boat Show this year? The Atlanta Boat Show is Jan 10th - 13th.

@Gloersen , it sounded as though there’s a lot of movement that makes the video very bad thus the reason @tap made those additions. You don’t see the need to do anything else? If so, that’s good.

I guess I’ll be buying the Orbit; so, I either need to modify it as did @tap or buy a GoPro to go with it? I have an iPhone 8 and I like the idea of the App to allow for minimizing unwanted video. I don’t believe I have that option with the GoPro. Any additional advice?

It looks like I’ll be getting a “post Christmas” Christmas present under the tree. Heck, my birthday is in January; I need a Ski Doc too.

The tournament boat is the Ski Nautique. The 200 is now “Nautique 200.”. Just drop the “Ski” on the latter. There you have it.

@Stevie Boy I believe I heard that the Sea Dek rep said that you can pressure wash it. Just be careful around the gel coat and your toes. :)

I “think” there is some design testing going on to improve and fix this problem; not totally sure of this - just heard via the rumor mill.

@Ilivetoski , as for 9 passengers; that’s just for riding/cruising the lake with 3 in the back, 3 in the front seat, and 3 in the open bow. As you know, the small open bow in that size boat would be for the smaller children. Like you, when skiing with the rope at the pylon, you eliminate the number of passengers by at least 3.

@Horton , the new ‘19 Ski Nautique, the ‘18 Ski Nautique 200, and the new ‘19 Nautique 200 that was just released yesterday. I suppose with the ‘18 model year dropping off, it would be “two.”. My bad.

That’s too cool, and according to those on the dock (and the driver) it was more than cool; they were wearing a lot of clothes.

@Horton, I knew that might get a comment or two but as you know, I’m a little prejudice and as stated “IMO.” It’s all good.

It’s ALL good. I like the new 2019 Nautique 200 and the marketing behind it. I love the innovation of the 2019 Nautique and the push by Nautique to make the most advanced ski boat on the market. I’m probably prejudice, but they make the #1 three event boat, the #2 three event boat, and now....... the #3 three event boat available. This is based IMO on performance behind the wheel, wakes, tracking, skier satisfaction, reliability, and overall comfort. Nuff said.

@T_C , First, with 2/3 of the Promo Boats going thru the local dealers; these boats are on their floor plan being leased to the Promo Rep (Nautiques Program anyway). They want to get them back asap so they can sell them while still “near new.” This is good for the tournaments in that new boats arrive each year. Second, regarding a fee included in each entry fee to compensate the Promo Rep, how is this handled if 2 or 3 Promo Boats support a tournament? I assume it would just get diluted by the number of boats that show up. If/when this is implemented, the LOC will probably choose not to provide lodging for the Promo on long trips. That would have to be worked out. Not sure what the answer is. As for Nautique’s involvement, I “think” they are still looking at improvements and maybe “leading the pack” with changes albeit, less boats nationwide. In the end, the Promo Rep doesn’t want to lose money and neither does the LOC. I guess everyone must do the math. Hopefully, innovative evolvements will occur.
