  1. @BraceMaker We are talking about two different things. On the topic of controversy I neither agree nor disagree with you. It's a fine line Horton must walk, in one sentence he could piss off a lot of people. I was commenting on ToddL's post which I interpreted as give extra details all the time (details are great but you can over do it). If Trent says, "I was talking to Rossi the other day." There is no need to say, Chris Rossi former professional skier and lead ski designer at Radar.
  2. Someone please move @thager inside...
  3. @Than_Bogan an indoor sport, sounds like that would help my condition. Maybe I’ll try crossfit.
  4. @B_S normally the cure for cabin fever is to get out and do anything. I get out all the time and still think about skiing way too much. I think spring fever normally comes around in April while you are stuck at work/school.
  5. Is it possible to have spring fever in January?
  6. And for the record, I have zero interest in iTunes podcasts.
  7. I think if you gave a lot more explanation than you already do, the show would get too long and boring. I anyone can’t keep up with who you are talking about they need to read more BOS and watch some webcast.
  8. @Rpc29 sorry to inform you that @Horton has a strong dislike of “i” everything.
  9. @Horton Please continue to use YouTube so I can watch while I am supposed to be working B)
  10. I think the only iTunes advantage is it will download to your phone while you are sleeping and on WiFi. Then you can listen while you drive to work (no data usage).
  11. @PeterAK I think because this tool is used on a boat it has a 200% markup vs tools for a car.
  12. FYI- follow the direction. It’s not rocket science but one of my friends told me that when his prop popped loose it slammed the nut with a lot of force. If the nut was not still on the end of the shaft the prop could have hit him.
  13. @allycat thanks for updating us. Many people ask for ski advice and never share how it turns out.
  14. +4” Interesting! 5’ 10” tall with 6’ 2” wingspan. Unit now I had not measured this. Edit: it’s sad though. It only means I should be A LOT better slalom skier.
  15. Off topic; @Edbrazil I think the Petersburg site was located where now is a drag strip. They built a land bridge through the middle of the lake so people camping could have a shorter walk to the track. I work at a power plant but I who knows what they do with the power once it leaves here? :)
  16. I forgot to say... Senate, Omni, Connelly V would be my first choice. Just saying if you want a Vapor for $200 that’s a steal.
  17. I never was a fan of the CX. There was a 2017 Vapor Graphite 66 on Ski it again for $200. This ski will be good for him down to 28 mph. Same ski I have at 135 lb. If he ever skis at 34 a 65 would probably be better. my .02
  18. @Horton has one of the cutest kids on the internet.
  19. @IGski did oldjeep pay you to say that? @ozski that’s a bad @$$ looking truck.
  20. @jhughes some of us 15off/22off guys are under the delusion that there is a magic carpet out there with “perfect” balance of forgiviness vs performance. On this hypothetical ski I can ski with subpar technique and run two more full passes. @jipster43 I am right there with you, 66” is a lot of ski at a buck 30ish.
  21. WHAT?!!! No lucky knife... you can’t have a Baller unboxing without a lucky knife... lol
  22. Bump. It’s 15 weeks until spring... Ed shared his experience, someone else care to comment?
