@MDB1056 do you mind sharing your speed and line length? I am wondering how the GTR works at -22 & -28 @ 32/34mph. Edit. What I meant is, is it to aggressive for a hack skier.

I thought the state would only approve the permits for the power plant “if” the company gave control of the lake to the state. @mccowherd2006 you are correct not all tournament skiers are practicing with a pro coach but there are probably 8-10 private ski course on this side of VA.

Not 100% sure but I don’t think the power station has any say so about what happens on the cold side of the lake. It should be Virginia Department of Game and Inland Fisheries.

@Obrienslalom I am out. It’s 30 minutes too far to make it practical for me.

Hello @mccowherd2006 It was great meeting you guys at Corey’s last week. As we discussed, I know of zero public course in the area. We have a handful of private lakes within an hour of Richmond but the public ski scene is greatly lacking. Yes, Smith mint. has one or two but I have never skied there. About two years ago Timberlake private club was looking for members, not sure of their status now. That would be a hike from your house but doable for a day or half day of skiing. There are rumors of a cable park and ski lake being built in Chesterfield. I think the chances of it happening are low because Chesterfield land prices have skyrocketed and the board of supervisors are known to have crazy requirements for all projects. The developer is a local skier. Bill

+1 for stay cool material, you have to feel it to believe it. TBS had that black prostar in ‘18. I was amazed it didn’t get hot. I love the single color blue interior. Not a fan of bright yellow, if it was standard yellow it would be sold by now. @LoopSki I heard the bow seats are standard equipment now.

Or if you want a high end HO keep an eye on SIA for an HO Pro. It got good reviews.

It would make more sense to get a Senate or Vapor of the same shape as your Union. I have never skied an A3 but there is probably a reason that when it was only 2-3 years old it was on clearance for $300 new. Edit: I am not saying one of the three skis you already have aren’t good enough for you.

Hey @Horton ever heard of Dane Mechler? 2@-41 in the prelim and was top seed in the finals.

And one nice feature is you get an email anytime someone will be at the lake.

We use TeamSnap. It is basically an app for little league teams. We create a “game” in the app to reserve lake time. Other members are able to reserve a ride with you. Once you have a full dock of skiers edit the game name from “Joe’s boat” to “Boat Full.” I have an iPhone but have not hear any complaints from android users. Let me know if you have any questions.

Is the webcast working for anyone? The schedule said mens slalom at 8:00 am Friday local time. That should be now.

At one time there was an Connelly V and HO V type. Also, Radar Vapor Pro and HO Pro. hmm... seems to be a pattern
