Baller ScarletArrow Posted August 22, 2013 Baller Share Posted August 22, 2013 Centurion pulled its first Nationals this year. G1, G2, W5, M4 and MM were the lucky ones - how did go, what did you think?
Baller klindy Posted August 22, 2013 Baller Share Posted August 22, 2013 Great boat to ski behind. We had Jody seal behind the wheel and it was effortless. I told them at the end of the lake after both my first two passes that if I can make 6 different mistakes on each pass as still not feel the boat it must be good. We also skied behind it at the regionals and it was equally good
Baller Kelvin Posted August 22, 2013 Baller Share Posted August 22, 2013 There were 14 PBs behind it at the SCR Junior Development tournament.
Baller Ed_Johnson Posted August 22, 2013 Baller Share Posted August 22, 2013 I am use to my CC200 6.0 and skied behind it at Lapoint's Lake, and noticed no difference what so ever...Great boat to ski behind.
Baller skidawg Posted August 23, 2013 Baller Share Posted August 23, 2013 Execellent boat, i would have one if it had an open bow!
Baller Chef23 Posted August 23, 2013 Baller Share Posted August 23, 2013 I agree with @skidawg I think the lack of an open bow hurts sales to people that aren't on purpose built ski lakes.
Supporting Member Than_Bogan Posted August 23, 2013 Supporting Member Share Posted August 23, 2013 I like the boat a lot. My biggest concern is resale value. And I think the biggest component of that is a fear that they may not stay around. Does anyone have additional evidence of a long-term commitment to 3-event ski boats from Centurion? I'm psyched they pulled Nationals this year, because that in itself is a sign of commitment.
Baller ForrestGump Posted August 23, 2013 Baller Share Posted August 23, 2013 Centurion had to throw a LOT of money at the Carbon Pro program in order to get it qualified for nationals.
Baller gregy Posted August 23, 2013 Baller Share Posted August 23, 2013 Yep, they need an open bow. Even if it was a stepover.

Baller 454SS Posted August 24, 2013 Baller Share Posted August 24, 2013 i'm a fan of closed bow and prefer it, that being said if not a closed bow I would prefer a stepover to a full walk thru
Baller GOODESkier Posted August 24, 2013 Baller Share Posted August 24, 2013 My 2 cents: 1st Penny: Skied great! Couldn't tell anything different behind the boat from my normal CC 200 or 196. If I didn't notice anything, that is a good thing in my head. 2nd Penny: It didn't drive, track, or sound (transmission) like my normal when I got to drive it. In my opinion this is where it doesn't quite meat my expectations.
