Baller_ MISkier Posted December 5, 2014 Baller_ Share Posted December 5, 2014 @onamission, are you going to the Skiers Pier or Silver Spray Polar Bear event? Or, is it your own local lake event? I'm wondering how much open water there will be. I went to both dealer events a couple years ago. I enjoyed it. I was amazed at the college kids, especially girls, who skied in only regular swimsuits in the 35 - 40 degree water. Of course, if I jumped in without my drysuit, I'd probably have an instant heart attack. I won't be going this year. Still resting my tendinitis, which is doing very well. I've even been able to do some pullups and some light dumbbell curls. The worst slalom equipment I own is between my ears.
Baller LZywicki1 Posted December 5, 2014 Author Baller Share Posted December 5, 2014 @MISkier Skier Pier. started going in 1997 and have a 10 year a know. Never made up to Silver Spray, doing 2 freezing runs in one day is just a little to crazy for me. Larry -----<|
Baller_ DW Posted December 5, 2014 Baller_ Share Posted December 5, 2014 Part 2 of a SE Michigan polar water ski run is a quick trip to the Nob or Mt. Holly to slide down the solid stuff...
