Baller BlueSki Posted September 19, 2016 Baller Posted September 19, 2016 Glad to see that she still skis: Camille in the WSJ (Subscription likely required)
Baller_ Wish Posted September 19, 2016 Baller_ Posted September 19, 2016 Rock climbing..well indoor anyway is the only sport I have found that hits all the same muscle groups and close to the same intensity. It's also an adrenaline rush similar to what you get skiing.
Baller andjules Posted September 19, 2016 Baller Posted September 19, 2016 I've found (indoor) rock climbing/bouldering to be a good fit mentally as well. Goal-oriented, mentally engaging, intense, usually in 1-ish minute spurts.
Gold Member Than_Bogan Posted September 19, 2016 Gold Member Posted September 19, 2016 Yeah, my older daughter and I actually happened to get to see Camille ski right after skiing with Mr. Cord (as my daughter insists on calling him and just sounds funnier every time). VERY cool. We didn't get a chance to talk with her, but did speak to her mother a bit before she hopped in the boat to watch. In a way, I feel like talking to an idol's mother is better for all involved. Camille probably doesn't want to hear again about how some random dude watched her on TV and thinks she's AWESOME. Even if she does want to relive that a bit, it's a bit awkward. But a mom can just beam as you talk about how awesome her daughter is!! Good times. Hope to cross paths with them again.
