  1. Great read. Full support for all the victims that have come forward and to those who choose to remain silent. Surprisingly this is a huge problem within our military as well and living on base there are signs literally everywhere educating people. The one big thing I learned that as a victim it is important to give them their power back and respect their wishes to remain silent or report to authorities. sometimes just an non-judging ear to listen does a tremendous amount of good
  2. Personally I know I do lift my back heel but I don’t think about it. A natural athletic position will have you on the balls of your feet, which will slightly lift your back heel, actually both heels. Even my front foot the pressure is coming from the front of my foot.
  3. @brettmainer you’re close I saw 32,32,35,35,38
  4. I am with @teammalibu here, 12 gauge with some #6 shot.
  5. @Steven_Haines especially when I see that d3 is selling them at half price!! 995.00 on their website
  6. @alex38 nope, just ask Nate who had a world record denied over boat path. I guess if a skier complained driver was wrong siding him and they went back and reviewed, but how many skiers are gonna complain about boat path when they run all 6???
  7. Practice wake crossing and getting in good position behind the boat then you can build from there. Don’t be in a rush to turn, make nice slow turns and make sure you are staying down behind the boat.
  8. Everyone seems to be missing the point here, no one is doubting @FWinter scores or his ability Horton is questioning the abnormally large clusters of scores
  9. @Killer no mma is not a good comparison because there have very strict rules. Eleeski said loosen up on the rules. If MMA was only concerned about entertainment they would probably allow eye gouges, nut shots, and steroids.... @eleeski so you can tell real time a boat moving a few inches out of tolerance through the course? I am dumb founded people actually think @Horton questioning scores will bring down the sport. If anything it should make these sights be more transparent and prove us wrong that everything is legit, but I very much doubt that will happen
  10. @eleeski if you want a sport run for entertainment go watch the WWF or whatever wrestling is called these days. How is it fair to skiers losing spots on a world ranking list because they don’t attend these tournaments where most skiers are scoring-extra buoys? How often do officials review boat path video unless a record is broken?
  11. wink wink @Stevie Boy I am sure they have. Only one reason not to make it available for all to see....what is X factor? Sounds like some soft porn or something
  12. @Stevie Boy also not saying any drivers are purposely weaving or swerving but the margin for error trying to keep the boat path in tolerance at that short of a line is almost non existent, I have seen several records get disallowed in the US for out of tolerance boat path with drivers that have driven approved records
  13. @Stevie Boy so you have end course video to prove me wrong? If a skier set a record outside the US and everything was approved as far as rope, handle, boat path than I would absolutely accept it. All I am saying is every time someone posts a monster score into 43 (9.25m) in the US people are very quick to also show boat path video to verify, I never saw any boat path video from the tourney last year where 4 or 5 skiers ran 41 or this boat path of Freddy running 41. I am skeptical of any score no matter in the US, Europe, Asia, Australia, South America, Antarctica, Africa(you get my point) where a skier runs 41 off because of how much of a difference a 2” wiggle can make when there is no boat path video
  14. I think the explanation is pretty simple, unless someone has boat path video to prove me wrong, there is probably some extra deviation from the center line on the boat path. It’s no different than some of the PB factories here in the US. How many of the 5 (or 4 can’t remember) skiers that ran -41 last year at tourney in Europe have run it since?
  15. I love calling line length and speed in metric, 58/11.25 sounds way better than 36/38
  16. Another thing golf promotes is playing from the tee box that fits your skill. Hmmmm sounds kinda like zero based scoring.......how did that go over in our sport?
  17. Someone once told me “pulling is what you do in a warm shower, leaning is what you do behind the boat” RIP Whitey
  18. Hey Chris yeah things got a little crazy this spring getting ready for the move. My only ski set was with you in February. Hoping to knock some rust off over here soon
  19. @Ryota I have arrived in Japan and itching to get wet. Are your friends skiing on the Edo River still. I am waiting on my ski gear to arrive but would like to start talking with people about possible ski rides.
  20. Never mind see you fixed it
  21. @scottyspin I have a 2001 SN 196 that I am considering selling since we are moving to Japan shortly. GT40 engine with PP runs great but it’s in FL
  22. @Ryota agree with a lot of the comments need a wider gate. Work on it at 14m and 13m get as wide as you can. Looks like you are flat into 1 and not able to handle the load. Wider gate should help you build angle without loading as much through the gate. I will be in Japan May of next year for 3 years would love to come ski with you sometime.
