    SeaDek

Hopefully SeaDek finds its way with curb feelers, 8 track and Gangnam Style.

  3. 407-851-1144, extension 1. Different 851 number will call you back.
  4. Which Boatmate do you have (because there’s really two Boatmates). Have you gone to Ramlin for help? Since you’re in FL I suggest calling Tito at Ramlin, you’ll have to leave a voicemail as they are very busy but he will get back to you, tell him of your concerns. They are GREAT people there at Ramlin and they’re topnotch. Some have the impression that Ramlin is out of the trailer business. Not at all so, they just “didn’t agree on terms” with Nautique/CC corporate and /or the dealers. So Boatmate is the “dealer choice” for Nautique now which IMO is a lesser product to say the least. I’m a Ramlin customer for life. I’m not saying they make the best trailer, but I haven’t found a better one yet. Inevitably all my trailers that weren’t Ramlins, I ended up taking to Ramlin and had them correct my issues. Last week I was at Ramlin and I saw 3 truckloads of brand new Nautique trailers there. I look closely and saw they weren’t Ramlins and were of another manufacturer that rhymes with Floatbait. I ask what’s up with this? The man I know pretty well there says some Nautique dealers send trailers from “the other” manufacturer (brand new) to Ramlin for Ramlin to cut on them and reweld to make the other trailers work appropriately. I get it, in my line of work I’m always to expensive upfront but in the end I’m not too expensive to fix the other guy’s problems.
  5. @MDB1056 I can’t shake the thought that the TriStar carried wood stringers over for quite a few more years. I’m trying to research why I’m hell bent on that thought. ‘89 was composite. Maybe just my personal distaste for TS.
  6. Judging by most on this site I would think any Correct Craft other than a 196 was crap. American Skier: Sexiest damn boat made in the day other than a SN. Good build quality. Ski Supreme: looked real good. Never skied one but I know they skied well. Ever restring one? My God you gotta pull the deck! Modern day: Centurion Carbon Pro. I lost a lot of respect for them to can it.
  7. Wasn’t the tristar wood stringers? I know it had a few corners cut. I’ve never been a fan of them. The Malibu I’d say is the better choice of your group even though that era Malibu id be hesitant on. I have some experience with my buddy’s Centurion outboard. I believe it’s a barefoot warrior but definitely has tracking fins. It’s a 1990. Fair wake, soft but I’m surprised wake is as big as it is. 200 Mercury but it was never propped right, slow in the hole and it’s top end was always beat by my Nautique. I felt interior was great due to no motor in middle. No other choices?
  8. Aaaannnndddd my point exactly. Why would a suck skier such as myself, or anybody that’s skiing shy of a solid -38 waste money on joining AWSA and waste time and money on skiing tournaments? I’m still trying to figure out what AWSA and tournaments do for bottom level skiers? Granted if we joined AWSA we could comment on what seems to be majority of the topics anymore on BOS. For $500 for one round we’d be better off spending $500 in 6 or so lessons at The Boarding School in our own backyard on our lunch break and we can actually see where that money goes. I know y’all have Pickle Man come out a lot to your house and coach, seems like that’s a better use of $500. At least for the ~$90 or so it costs me to join AAA I’m guaranteed 4 tows of my truck and trailer up to 100 miles and a discount at most hotels and campgrounds.
  9. But it’s not a Yeti... With a Salt Life sticker... and a Costa sticker. Must be 1990.
  10. I just sent my resume over.
  11. Maurice Boetta owns the car. He lives in Winter Park, Goldenrod area. That ramp can’t possibly be Winter Park. It’s a pretty distinct looking ramp, I’ve done aerials on almost every public ramp in Peninsular Florida and hadn’t found that one. I’m guessing east Central Florida. Judging how the state operates and the floating dock along with signs that is a public ramp.
  12. No I pretty much got this body by taking a year off skiing while eating Arby’s half the time because I’m at the hospital 2 weeks a month. But up until 16 months ago I worked out 5x a week and ate a home cooked and healthy meal 3x a day. Yes it did help my skiing but truthfully, 85% of it helping was mental. Just a placebo.
  13. @MDB1056 I I agree with @BraceMaker. Points might corrode, some sand paper or a few dollars will get you going and save a weekend. An electronic module can go bad you’re likely SOL for a week. Plus side to electronic is it’s mostly maintenance free. Guess it’s the same argument as carb vs. EFI
  14. Wow, crime stats. This info can be skewed greatly but it looks like: ... Pine Hills had 20% more reported crime than Ocoee. Pine Hills also has double the population. So per person looks like in Ocoee you have better chance of a crack monkey stealing your Radar Vapor.
  15. Curiosity got the best of me and so far 90% of the houses on the lakefront and their associated neighborhood if applicable weren’t even built in this century. In fact said house is one of the newest ones built which was 2003.
  16. Folks, Ocoee is no better than pine hills! Look at the stats. And said house is right across the street from the worst part of Ocoee.
  17. The part I find the MOST disturbing, along with the fact a mother looks to be murdered, is the fact every step and move was video recorded. Way too much common every day things were caught on surveillance cameras. I’m starting to think I’m the only one who has a problem living my life on big brothers camera.
  18. @ScottScott Sheldon Cooper, it’s sarcasm. Been developed since 90’s. There’s two neighborhoods that have access, one is a less desirable condo development. The other side I don’t recall a community ramp, just the lakefront homes. Couple boats may be on there but I would call it deserted.
  19. @The_MS Pretty certain the last time somebody was on that lake is when this 9.25 lb bass was caught at 9pm September 10, 2001. Very deserted lake, very tight access but water level fluctuates. I know, fishing is a dirty word on this site.
  20. Yes focus on ignition and truthfully keep the points. Don’t go electronic unless whole dizzy is trashed which just be your description and pics I’ll bet dizzy isn’t worn. Shaft packing should be about one drip every 15 seconds when in gear and no drips when shaft isn’t turning is acceptable. A dry/bad/too tight packing tends to squeal or groan. You should really pull access panel up and inspect the mufflers and exhaust hoses. A bad exhaust tube is essentially a 3” hole in the bottom of your boat and no bulge pump will keep up with that.
  21. @Zman @RichardDoane http://www.correctcraftfan.com/forum/forum_posts.asp?TID=46693&PID=580272&title=ski-brendella-part-out#580272 That may be of some use for ya.
