  2. Still quiet from the team D3, hints sneakpreview, paparazzi anything? show us some love
  3. can u guys take a picture where the hoses are connected to the engine GT40
  4. Found a ski on SIA that i was intrested of but shipping cost to get that ski with an weight of 3,5 ibs from US (TN) to Sweden cost 344$ thats half the price of the ski ! it was like the same price FedEX ,UPS DHL Anyone that have any other idea of transport solution i found this https://www.myus.com/pricing/
  5. Had the 14 -15 Vapor both 66" this year the16 Vapor first one 67" sold that cos think it was to big for me and now on 66" but haven't got any one of the four skis to turn on my offside buoy 2 so haven't got past the third one for 3 years Vapor curse! this summer i tested the new 2016 D3 skis for 1 week 66" Quest ,65" Helix2 and 66" Arc, both the Helix and the Quest turns on my offside but not the Arc is the Arc more like Vapor ? and why does those ski turns for me offside and not any of the vapor skis? im 160 ibs can i get the 66" vapor act like the quest or helix doing something like move my boots way out of specs or do something with my fin ive tested all recommended fin settings from rossi rini and others im rly lost
  6. Take pics of the NASA DUCT and print em on stickers so we can mount on the16 Vapor for better performance
  7. im 160ibs sold my 67" that i think was little to big for me and got the 66" instead using skijay settings 2.450, 6.970, .745, 8°, 29.5 the ski comes around very fast on my onside and have left me behind a few or more times so it seems that i rly need to climb that frontfoot even on my onside shall try on hole forward same settings
  8. @jimbrake i asume you are bowed as well as i tried to explain i did the same as you in the begining cant up the right side to get an better offside but it doesn't help u get rid of the problem (the football between your legs at least in my case) ill use 25 mm plastic construction wedges on both front and rear that gives 7-8 degree on each leg that helps me stand better on the ski with my knee tilted inwards to the other knee more like knocked knee. as LFF you place the wedge on the leftside on your front boot and right side on your rear boot, when you archived your desired stance and you still wanna improve your offside with the same improved stance you have. lower the degree of angle on your front foot but increase it with the same degree on your rear boot. but before ill would do that try out the stance you got of canting both front and rear and maybe do some wing/boot movment.
  9. I tested heel raise on my supershell the release and heelcup was mounted on the 0.27 inch pastic cutting board but think i need to have raise on both front and back to avoid lose the connection between the front and rear hip (can i say so lol) what hapend was that my front leg was more leaned forward as intended but i lost pressure on my front foot cos rear hip was not level with front hip
  10. @thager try both next time if you wanna try it again and as u are extreme bowed so go for 7 degree or more as i did when your buddies in the boat don't say that they cant shoot an football between your legs anymore then you are all fine. the effect of just cant one side front or back is that you keep the same stance nothing change you just move it towards one side in your case you canted the front so you leaned the binding towards your offside more and it was probably harder to initiate and complete the offside turn cos the ski had less angle than before on the offside
  11. @BraceMaker on request from ppl in my skiclub i tested switch back to normal without wedges but that dint work at all,,, im doomed to have those things mounted. @OldboyII with height comes angle i must have that 7-8 degree to lock my knees together and bring my hips in an forward position as you see on the pictures else i fall back in an sitting position when my legs getting loaded in the course it can be in the turn or in the pulling phaze, btw modded my reflex supershell to get rid of that "lagg" on my offside i rly love my supershell, now its screaming edge control zero lagg or just the padding in the liner that gives way a tiny bit
  12. When can we expect the next D3 lineup for 2017 with new sticks and updates or just top layer skin change.
  13. every moving part in the steering from wheel to rudder gonna wear out and cos play in the steering use shim to tighten things up first make sure there is no play at all wheel to wire, if you have an old cable wire exchange it to the new one recommended the stronger one. after that grab an buddy to help you examine all links between cable and rudder that can cos play while you turn the steerings wheel
  14. @BraceMaker yes its lagg there too but solved that with rehab tejp but the lagg further back is still remain gonna fix that with an angle iron thingy, haven't seen the new heelcup 2.0 on the inside but cant imagine they have changed so much that it gonna solve the lagg or the weak inside of the shell, some people maybe like it but i dont, i bought it to get more edge control.
  15. The vid says reinforced heelcup! i got the new one as replacement for my supershell but the front edges of the heelcup doesn't even touch my binding neither does the build up under the shell do so its no extra support of the shell (there is no chance the new heelcup gonna break cos im not in contact with it) it so much "lagg" on my offside so i must solve this by mounting an angle iron with adjuster knobs to push/hold the inside sidewalls of the shell to achieve an laggfree offside its lagg on the onside as well but not so much, i hope they changed this on the new one @Wish not sure but maybe the purpose of the cap is to replace things like this on the bars
  16. does that Z-Box and stargazer fit an 2000 196 ? with multiline ofc
  17. Manufactures weight ranges when select ski is that birth day suit or full combat outfit impact vest and wetsuit? lets say vapor 16 67" says 160- 200 LBS im at the lowest weight range 160 LBS birthday, boat speed 55 is that ok or do need to gain weight or increase wing angle move bindings ?
  18. @ScottScott so closed hip at offsides, shall i twist my bindings more towards the right if im an LFF (clockwise) to ski more closed to the boat on my offsides ? i use to twist them to the left to open up more to the boat so thats wrong ?
  19. The injury occur when u reached your maximum range, been there done that as many other 11 month of total rehab 3 of them on crutches cant say i have any pain of it now but tiny less movement range that was before i had an release system. i can say that it helps but you rly need to make sure that the straps grabs in before you max out and over extends, if you have an overlap liner as i do or extra padded in some way it can trick you to believe that you are safe cos of you feel the ankle strap sets in but in a fall /OTF all those extra padding makes your ankle moves further forward and maybe that short extra distance can be enough to cause dmg to your ankle. ofc your foot can twist in other directions that maybe dont make the reflex system release. Dont know if pro skiers use that strap cos it hinder the preferred range of movement they maybe wanna have over the front foot, its your choice
  20. think its important to make sure and adjust that the flexion brake strap back on the hardshell so it sets in just before you bottom out the ankle joint maximum movement range, just to avoid injury
  21. Question @Chris Rossi What does the -16 do better with 9 degree wing angle over 7 or 8 what do we gain or lose, 9 degree no matter what 34 or 36mph? many with me have read jays black magic book and the conclusion that the wing is more than just an assisting brake so if you lower the angle to 7 or more the ski probably dont act the way you want it to be so whats the main characteristic you think the 16 Vapor would be lacking in with lower wing angles?
  22. @UWSkier copy paste yee id thought so too having a wedge on the outside of your foot would have the opposite effect to turn initiation and turn but apparently it was the way to go 7 degree wedges on the outside of both the front and rear boot. dont know if its my bowlegged issue that improve the effect of being pushed forward like locked in a pride tall stance cos it i seems impossible to lose that hip forward COM over front binding position, wonder if everyone can get that effect by canting as i did? @thager can you be our next crash test dummy, naa i dont wanna urge people to do new things that seems to work =) edit: its not an new thing as many here stated before
