  1. Any updated stock settings, where can i find the settings, and what are people using on the 67" ?
  2. Hey guys this was just a thing i wanted to share with you its not an new religion but it works like magic for me.
  3. ill just take my birthday suit next time those parts are not defect
  4. More pictures from the side 1/2 is without wedge (more butt heavy raiding tail) 2/2 with wedge feels like something pushes me forward over the front binding.
  5. OK so here comes the pictures side by side pic 1/3 no wedge pic 2/3 wedges pic 3/3 no wedges worst scenario there the legs pushes outwards and ill ending up skiing on my rear like 100 %
  6. @gavski hope i dint misled you the picture from the front that had wedge on the right side was before i did it correct !!! so guys dont mount it on the right side of the binding its wrong. @thager yee try out the 7 degree plastic ones i cant say for sure if i feel any differ if using the 7 degree thats little higher than the one that is ending direct on the ski, maybe i get tucked in more behind my front leg with the low profile and get the rear hip more forward with the yellow higher piece haven't skied enough to decide whats best for me.
  7. Its better to show on dock standing on the ski my stance mounted vs unmounted btw also using those in my binding one or two so my skin goes free from the plastic edges of the hard shell, all i can say that it an HUGE improvement of my stance standing tall like CP and my legs dont drops to the outside like they did before and falling back on the rear leg when skied
  8. think bowed legs is the worst as an waterskier cos you tend to ski more and more back on the ski when you get the power from boat down your hips thru your legs, that forces the leg to bends more outwards until a dolphin can jump between your legs, the more you bend them the more you gonna sit and ski only on you rear. @skibrain knock kneed maybe the best, who knows maybe better than normal aligned legs! its only the rear thats raised 0,5 inch so i can get my rear hip more over the front of the ski both are the same 7 degree. the hardware screws that are stainless from HD store (expensive cry) pushes binding plate down quite hard so i think its ok. i think all that have an tendency to ride the tail and have knees that arent tucked inwards center line ski and together 100% on the water should try this
  9. on the rear i wanted the boot elevated aswell so the yellow is an 0,5 inch higher havent tested them yet but the brown ones that are mounted on the front binding are level with the ski on one of the sides both are 7 degrees on this pic can you see how it looks like on the front binding but mounted on the wrong side (Rside)!!!! so dont mount on that side if you wanna try and have bowed leggs!
  10. Have changed skies bindings like every year moved the fin wing to all places that even Jay dont mention in his book, but my problem to get the ski start initiate the offside turn and finishing the offside remain until yesterday! Tested wedges before under the front boot in an attempt to get the ski to turn. Tested cant sideways and tilt forward nothing helped. Have an outward curvature of the legs so i can get an tennis boll between my knees in height of my kneecaps (bowlegged) that was my problem that prevented me from initiate and finish my offside OMG all those years without to know it was my leg that caused that problem, its prob more ppl out there that are bowed legged that dont know what negative effects its causing for us as water skiers. Instead of just using wedge on front binding ill also added wedges to my rear. Im an LFF so before i had tried to add the wedge on the right side in the belief that when my front binding stays level with the water when standing flat it get the result the ski wanna turn to the right little more and help me initiate and finish my offside turn - WRONG my posture remained the same or worse i think i spread my legs even more apart and that pushed me further back on my rear leg riding the back of the ski . But now i mounted wedges under both front and rear binding this time left side on front binding and right side on my rear binding that corrected my posture so now im standing tall and on my front foot, feels like having something pushing my ass forward and that i have a spear in a good manner down and up my spine. 7 degrees cant on both bindings today i got another one that i shall test tomorrow that give me some more degrees to see whats best. Using the new Rossi settings at my 67" Time to feel the true power of the VAPOR
  11. added an washer on my 16 vapor havent tested it yet but you see the deflection its like an bump and measure 0.5 mm less on the right side, if im feeling something then i dont know if its the changed waterflow over the bump that you can see on the picture or actually the change in fin deep
  12. added an washer on my 16 vapor havent tested it yet but you see the deflection its like an bump and measure 0.5 mm less on the right side, if im feeling something then i dont know if its the changed waterflow over the bump that you can see on the picture or actually the change in fin deep
  13. (LFF) ill nail the onside first bouy and have so much height when approach the second bouy (offside) but so hard to initiate the turn and like impossible to finish the turn. Where do i need to have my weight over the ski on to get it to turn my offside? 67" DFT .775 6.982 2.450 boot 29.92 wing 9 shall i have like all 100% of my weight on the front leg under the ball of the fot or shall it be like 50/50 between my legs? seem that i need that shallow FD to get the ski on edge i just bought an new ARTP to give it an chance but no chance i can ski with that removed it after first try so unstable. must wait one week or more to get a new one over the continent seems like that the 16 Rear standard Lyric Boots is out of stock cos i ordered one but they sent me the front boot so now i have 1 artp that i cant ski with and a front boot that is to expensive to send back to cos of chipping cost and customers fee at 60+$ @eddie_roberts_jr you dont have any in stock ?
  14. @gavski pics of your modded boot pls
  15. Back issue less or more yes but will not say thats the main reason, as i said i did it most for fun and liked what i got out of it to date. Not sure if i shall rank the positive things about it and if so in what sequence, for me personally i ranked nr 1. that i learned instant (still in learning phase) that i must ski to the handle or hips to handle as Oldboy said. IMPOSSIBLE to cheat if i even try to reach the handle with my outside hand before my hip/ski finished the turn and are leveled with the handle ill do the famous OTF @ 100% . First time i tested the belt thingy ill experienced the "automatic" counter rotation my outside hand moves far back on the outer hip at the same time ill do the reach -naa dont think i did that either i got an so much better turn now! takes some time to dial in the ski and me to finish the turn in time! 2. On the list must be the rly low anchor point that protects from sudden major weight change back and front wise caused by different scenarios like improper technique or just being late in the course (Yes both bad and good) the other thing that i haven't tested to the max is to stop the 5.7 or pull it backwards =) i can just imagine its my legs that sets the limit of the TUG behind the boat. 3. I can ski like for ever maybe empty an 22 liters 5.8 gal plastic spare tank without rest (maybe this should be the nr 1 on the list cos of the more practice i can have in the course than without it) @Chef23 the technique can i learn and copy without the belt but its good meanwhile. But the benefits with an low anchor point the belt offer are hard to beat without being immortal or sim. @Drago that was the 15 Vapor with some strange things attached to it, last years sins we dont talk about it ill post some pics of my new ski when i get my new rear boot.
  16. @OldboyII haha you had right, today it happend the tag with the reinforced leather was torn off at the water start. Im waiting for new gloves from Radar to my local store in sweden dont know if they are shipped yet hope so. gonna take your advice and connect an D-ring to the wrist end the same way they are connected to the leash. Back to the water OK this was my first fall not an OTF one =) Still in the water i disconnected my puppet strings from the gloves and continued skiing normally, discovered that my almost dialed in 16 vapor behaved so much different when i got the pull and handling through my upper body instead from the hip line. The skiing dint work out at all. ill add this to my skiing experience.
  17. Hi guys im skiing with this every set now. Its prob more people than our Admin that wanna see video of this crafted setup in action but Ftm. ill just add my experience and value of it. 1. Deep water starts felt little strange the first times cos of the limited reach with two hands on the handle. Its quite an strong rubber core in the green leash, but learned when i feel tension in the rope handle just before the pull from the boat i straightens out my leg and lean my back hard and as much that i can. That way it extends the rubber core and extends my arms so i cant get an OTF failure start cos of the limited "TYR REX" arm the belt setup caused. Conclusion of the DWS. its little more of an balancing act and you must really use the lower back muscles to lean back hard (not effortless) the DWS pull comes from the hip/lower back and not from your upper body that can be an good thingy. Disappointment for some i haven't done any OTF starts with it (yet) ill add skiing experience soon (the best part)
  18. Even rich people need to start on two skies one as a dropski
  19. I just got an new LEFT Aqua Intuition liner from US its an 10-11 but my Supershell is an 8! and ofc little to big if i heat mold it can it shrink some? or shall i sell it and buy a new one i got it today and it unused if any in sweden are intrested and need of one. Its this one http://intuitionliners.com/thestore/aqua/
  20. Quick update the need of reinforcement of the gloves from the begin i had just drilled a hole in the Radar logo that was made of rubber/plastic that was not designed to hold the load from a Nautique now it has thick leather and a eyelet,,, Naaa bad weather and lack of time Still heaven t tested it out, but in the weekend ill report back. From further testing in my living room NO Doubt I have believe in this...
  21. maybe use an lowprofile hex screw and a wrench that you trim down so it fits under the other screw
  22. @Gloersen i guess the drilled holes are for fast waterdrain?
  23. ..... My sentence construction skills is like my skiing under progress ..... :)
  24. Bogan and Horton has right you rly need to know how to stand right on the ski. If you have the right "stance" and weight on front foot at the doc leaning against an handle. Then you know how to stand on the water. If you struggling to get forward and weight over front foot, and miss the feel you had on the doc cos of the ski pointing at the heaven and you try climbing uphill all the time to get forward on the ski. When you know where your weight distribution shall be on the ski the moving of the binding forward is gonna help you out. The more angle you have on the wing the more will the ski drag behind you and let you move up on the ski better (forward) so 9 degrees or more.
