  1. One of our members built this for Dry land practice/offseason haven't tested the thingy yet but its seems nice
  2. Must say thnx to you all i think i can make something out of all of your links and tips i tried to add an centerline its prob not perfect cos dint have the tools for that but it maybe can help to see better how much my shinbone lean towards the shell the blue line is the centerline
  3. Horton this was Wish fault pls move it to an other topic if you have time ! yes it was a project way more expensive than a supershell setup. the FT boot is very modified since those pics trimmed down the walls and much more must say more comfortable boot doesn't exist and NO the the boot don't release your ankle is your weak spot in other bindings i have done a few OTF fall the ankle is totally safe but in a hard fall u move the impact higher up on the body to the hips. As Drago said also no scores! my first thought yes the guys in my ski club, Skijay Drago had right about this. But now the week after i got the Reflex supershell i must say it dint get me any further it tok me 1 par of Obrien Legion changed to double Vapors dint like the front vapor changed to Radar Profile. vent back to my FT project even tested other skies Mapple t2 same results just bingo if i get past 2:nd ball with some angle out of the turn. the issue is my supinated fot= makes the ski turn left when in an natural stance right over the ski so initiate a turn to the right is rly difficult and even harder to finish the turn, this issue is amplified by the FT and Reflex hardshell. but if (when) i manage to build up some insoles that help me get that true natural stance i think the FT can move me deeper into short line slalom even if i guess I'm gonna stay reflex. To even get the same performance thats possible with the reflex the FT must stand direct on the plate and trim down the base to a thin layer I'm happy now after all error and try and the trouble shooting is over. 4. Its a Full Tilt park snow ski boot with some race snowboard bindings
  5. So what about the Lady version of the 2016 Vapor what length can we buy of it and does it differ something in flex i like the the 2015. personally if found the women edition 2016 more eye catching and it seems glossy compared to the mens ski
  6. yes gonna get a pair of em but 1 month on wait list to get to an ortho before they can make an mold
  7. haven't read the tread but we use oxalic acid blend it to an gel so it don't fall off the hull it almost do the work for u by it self only very light rubbing is needed with an scotchbrite USE gogles here is an link but we use to blend it to an gel and our boat is like total black of organic life on the hull like aliens that attach theres babies on the Nautique
  8. funny post but this is prob how its looks like IRL among many of us, i spend the gold on skies and equipment my girlfriend spend it on clothes botox and whatever it can be aaa the new thing is lashes that an specialist glue one by one time consuming and thats done like every 2 veeks so in the long run its an new
  9. This is my normal stance in the binding the shinbone is buried into the left side and cuff it seems like i have supination means that i stand/walks on the outside of the foot and thats affect the shinbone there are some fotinsoles for this issue that maybe can work
  10. THNX my problem is right here in your post now i must prob go to snow ski shops /pro fotbed running specialist and fix my not optimal stance i i have tested so many boots and nothing works it was little better when used old rubber bindings but that was years ago
  11. im a LFF and my shinbone pointing outward when I'm in an natural stance (bow shaped leg) the issue with this is that when i put my feet in the supershell and clamp it and stands on the water straight behind the boat the ski wanna turn to the left and its almost impossible to initiate turn to the right my offsides so i must try to heat mold it or change something so i can get that true natural stance or even better so the ski turns little to the left insted when standing in natural pos. do you guys have any experience how to tweak the shell ? what i need to do is to bend the sidewalls and upper cuffs to the left or maybe cant the whole binding with an wedge. i have an steam cleaner maybe can use that hints an tips are welcome
  12. Why doesn't Reflex offer something like this if we wanna have something plugn play and not wanna start our power tools the first we do when the gear comes with mail http://www.d3skis.com/product-p/6-d3-reflex-shock-pad.htm
  13. sry Ed dint see or dint get the thingy with the extra hardware i must mod mine aswell somehow (bow legs offside disadvantage)
  14. LOL ED and Jrs u guys turned me into an nolifer this eve (swe time) after your post i felt that i must for real investigate this so i put 1 drop of olive oil over the whole heal area of the hardshell and removed oil with an cloth so it was just an thin thin layer left and carefully put the shell on the plate and locked it in place with the release and stepped my foot in it and put some pressure on it here is the result... as u see its just a ring 1.5 cm that's are in contact with the shell so at least on my shell its direct on the plate ED now its your turn =)
  15. i must say its zero lift cos the heal stand on the plate ( the black hole) the white heal stabilizer keeps the boot rock solid down so its not going sideways or the walls of the shell bends so you lose any edge control
  16. only got 1 ride on the new shell and must say that its really nice and easy to get and hold edge i just had some trouble with my offside 2-4-6 cos of what i think is my lower leg shape mine is like the first pic from left so when im bolting the reflex shell down to my left feet the ski will lean outward and make my offsides rly hard to initiate and finish any tips how i shall mod the shell/plate to even out the problem maybe need to make an new post for this or change category Flag myself off topic
  17. on my heal cup there isn't any heal lift at all it just secure the binding rly rly good so the shell stand firm on the g10 but ofc. you can add materials under the heal cup to get lift but maybe lose some of the shell bolted down feeling don't know...
  18. Ed do you experience that the edge bends as well? my guess the only reason for moving the buckles is to get less contact with the water when u edge the ski so they dont act like an break and get you out of balance
  19. Dont get this look on my binding compared to your binding how different the alu buckles are mounted, your buckles are what i can see about 1 cm or more from the edge and mine are almost at the the edge! if you look inside the shell at the middle bucklet there u can see 3 premarked rings and mine are mounted at the middle of em. if mine are upgraded whats the advantages/disadv of the placement on mine i experience that the shell edge bends down into the liner when tightening the binding.
  20. The heal stabilizer is locked down by screws but as u see they isn't countersink enough and the one u see is mounted skew. jrs is the screws going out on your plate ?
  21. those are the screws for the 2 bars 0,029 inch out from the plate so must ask reflex if there shall be an rubber pad on my g10 swell
  22. its screws on mine at the back but they are aren't predrilled and centered so they skew and the screws stand out from the g10 plate its strange even the bars screw stands out but they are stright mounted is that normal or do u guys use any soft rubber between the plate and ski? the countersink must be correct depth or are the screw skulls to big ?
  23. my binding has finally arrived what are the new changes if i have em? the thing i can see differ from yours is some added white graphics on the black buckle and yours seems to be litle light brown inside mine is white and black gonna load up pics soon
