I’m just skimming this thread so not sure if it was mentioned or not but have you tried glove liners??? Problem solved no blisters and maybe minor callouses but only after tons of sets . Masterline direct or Perfski will have them. Will seriously change your life

I’m 5’7” and fluctuate between 165-175. I’m on a 66 Vapor and a 65 Senate Lithium (2022 barely used and for sale by the way?). I’ve skied the 67 Senates as well. I guess if I spent the time setting the fin it would act like a shorter ski. The 67 just felt very large for me. I could ski it well but didn’t spend much time on it before I sold it. I’m on the top of the 65 for my weight but I can rip on that thing. If your running some 32’s but mostly 34 mph it would word fine. If you go with 67 just spend the time to set it up correctly. Push up DFT about .02 to .03 . The 67 might be less effort if you get it dialed in but honestly the 65 rips too! We’re about the height/weight. Seems the last few Radar 67s I’ve tried measured about 67 1/2 so felt big for me. Anyway your mileage may vary. Hit me up if have any interest in a basically new Senate Lithium . Might have some bindings as well

@ColeGiacopuzzi Ive had great success on your last numbers on my 2022- 29 3/8 from bottom of base of vapor boot. 2.485 6.845 .755 9 Just received my 2023 and wondering if you are running those same numbers...assuming you're on the 23 already. Shape is the same but different flex in the tip. Will the new flex pattern alter the settings a bit, if any? Im going to start with the stock/short deep as it came but maybe go 29 3/8 on Bf. Thoughts? If it starts a significant discussion we can move to the 2023 thread.

@GMC How those Long/Shallow settings working out?

We have an 8 ball course at my site. Also have the ability to sink Zero ball on each side before the run. Its AWESOME! Total site length is about 1675 I think? Makes a huge difference in set up time.

Cool thanks @Brooks. That is a true statement. I did end up more Long/Shallow on the 20-21 models but have mostly been a short/deep skier. Running short/deep on my 22 as well. Thanks for the feedback.

@Horton Basically what I did. I’m using Cole G’s #s and moved Bf forward from 29 1/4 to 29 3/8 on my 66. Working for most part. Really the broken part is me.

@Horton What was your adjustment for "big" offside turns? @Bruce_Butterfield Did you ride the 22 prior as well? The 22 Vapor to me is a point and shoot type ski. Sounds like the softer tip smoothed it out a bit?

@brooks I've never received a ski that the fin was set to "Stock" fin settings per the site. Except my 2022 was actually very close. Just curious as how the factory sets fins as they are headed out the door? Will the 2023s ship something close to the new Short/deep or long/shallow settings?

I just ran these #'s from Cole G on my 66 and really worked for me. Especially since I was ready to toss my ski in the woods. 29 3/8 from bottom of base of vapor boot. 2.485 6.845 .755 9

I wear a size 9. The previous vapor boots I had to go with a 10 as they are so tight. The new vapor boots fit differently and the 10 was way too big. Ended up in the size 9 for the new boots and fit perfectly.

The new vapor boot is insanely responsive and comfy compared to the previous model. I started the season using the double boot set up but have been experimenting since then. I’m currently on a 22 Vapor Pro/22 Vapor boot with a custom made rear toe loop. It took a while to get comfortable with the rear toe kicker but now used to it. The ski is noticeably faster and takes less effort across the wakes. Seems dropping the weight of the rear boot has got me out of the back seat and more balanced resulting in a more efficient position. I do have crappy circulation in my feet so about my 6th pass I start to cramp a little but the way this new boot wraps around the foot with the boa is amazing. Feels like a slipper. I may chop up my rear boot to make it like a reflex r- style next.

@ColeGiacopuzzi I believe that’s the same plate I have and currently use with my new Vapor boot screwed down. I don’t use the Reflex release or base plate due to the canting issue. Word from Brooks was new plates are on way that offset the toe bar for left or right boot so it mounts straight. I didn’t see an option to select left or right for the Vapor plate on the Radar plate so assume it’s the first run plate.
